Hi, ethe cells are discharging to around 950mah now. Still crap but now the timers off they go down to 3.1v instead of 3.5. Question is when I get cells of approximately 3000 mah what sort of difference is acceptable when making parallel connection? Eg. I've got a cell of 929, 956 and 1021. If...

It's just discharged to 969 mah and 172 minutes. So it seems turning the timer off was the problem

Yep, done that so hopefully I ll get more capacity. When I ve sussed it out with these cells I'll be happy to get some decent ones

Just found the setting for the safety charge which makes sense as it's for 120 minutes. So my cell is discharging for 2hours max. If I disable that somehow would the cell have a chance to discharge more than the 700 I'm getting? It's all experience!

Yes 1 amp. How do you set discharge voltage limit. It stops at about 3,5 and always 119 minutes 59 secs. That's about 710 mah

I see. I ve noticed the charger is finished discharging at 119 minutes 59 seconds every time. That can't be right

I guess so. They don't get hot at all charging or discharging, bit that's besides the point. Getting only 700 out of one means there's no point discharging it a few times to get an average. It's never going to get near 1500 is it.

That's interesting information about the time to discharge. So it took nighon 2 hrs to discharge so not sure what you mean by that's the capacity. Should be 2 ah ? And why does it show 700 odd mah? Getting puzzled now

Sure, thanks I've learnt alot over past few months. So if the cells I m referring to charged to 1439 for 5p 1s, what is 1439 referring to? Yes I'm experimenting, and the 5 cells in theory should be 7500.
