    Name that bike

My guess is a Cube Compact Sport... about £3k.

    Saddle sore

As SW says, you can fit most any standard saddle with rails. Slack off/remove the bolt with a hex key. I found the saddle fine after a couple of rides; it's the grips being rock-hard which many change.

    Help! Vitesse Force Electric Bike

Your best bet is to contact the original supplier as only they are likely to know which display version they used. If there was a manual supplied, there may be contact details in there for customer service/support/parts. It seems to be a bike sold through a number of retail/on-line channels...

    Help! Vitesse Force Electric Bike

It's model E5227, manufacturer's website is here. You'll probably find one on ebay or ali. Your issue is that there are three communication protocols used, UART, LIN (analogue?), and CANbus. You need to find out which version your bike uses. Most bike repair shops don't seem to want to touch...

Carrera subway E bike Led replacement

If your LED display is one of those quirky Suntour ones, your best bet would likely be to ask Halfords themselves. Most of those membrane type displays have limited life, and the age of the Subway is such that I'd think it's something Halfords get asked about a fair bit by now. Moore Large used...

    Help! Vitesse Force Electric Bike

This from the Aldi website who used to sell your e-bike. Does it look like this one? If so, King Meter are still around; others may know which model it is.

    Train E-bike ban

Five class 153 trains converted with space for 20 bikes on each... intended for ski's and back-pack storage too depending on season... but the West Highland Line is very much a tourist route: The reason train operators don't provide more bike capacity on normal trains is simply because (like...

    Hello?

You're reading far too much into this. Your original post is here: My name is ..... And I'm new here..... | Pedelecs - Electric Bike Community It doesn't explain too well what kit you've been looking at or what you're trying to achieve in terms of cost/performance/issues for others here to...

    Fiido D21 battery issue

If that's what Fiido advise, you've nothing to lose by trying. It's a non-latching push to make switch, so if the switch is faulty bridging those two wires only tells the BMS to turn on. (guessing the red wires illuminate the LED). I suspect they may well have had problems with it before...

    First ladies ebike recommendations

It's funny how polarised folk are on here. I've 3 e-bikes with 3 different means of propulsion: Torque sensor Bafang M400 mid-drive, RPM sensor TranzX 16GT mid-drive, and my little Fiido folder with rear hub. They're all good for different reasons. For scooting/pottering around town, my own...

Can one rebuild a Raleigh forge battery, a Tranzx BL03 to be precise. Does the BMS have to be original?

It's not a standard XLR plug/socket: It's 5-pin/180 with a slot/groove and a 3rd wire connected, probably as a trigger for overcharge or overheat. If you're changing the BMS I doubt that third wire matters. Last time I looked, original TranzX chargers were £90+. I know some TranzX batteries do...

    Fiido D21 battery issue

Looking at your pics, the insulation on one of the red/positive wires looks to me like it was starting to melt, which usually happens from sustained/abnormally high current. What were you doing to it?!! I've not opened my own (D11 but identical), but at a guess I'd think if you disconnect the...

Can one rebuild a Raleigh forge battery, a Tranzx BL03 to be precise. Does the BMS have to be original?

You can buy pre-assembled cell packs for that battery on Ali, but you need the working BMS to transfer. Google shows that bike uses the older PST system which pre-dates the CANbus/LogiX era. For not a lot more, you can (usually) buy direct replacement BL03 batteries on Yose/PSP etc and avoid...

    Which e bike

You were asking before about the Eleglide Citycrosser - £899 on Amazon. To be fair, it looks to me not to be too bad given the price point... it even has a torque sensor, mech disc brakes, 36v/10Ah Dorado(?) style battery, 7sp Tourney gearing, front rack/mudguards/stand etc. The question I'd be...

    Fiido D21 battery issue

The behaviour (2) suggests the battery is already fully charged. As Neal says, you first need to measure/check the battery voltage is okay.

    New E Bike

At that end of the price spectrum, Decathlon as a high street brand seems well liked (good value, reliable, helpful, know how to fix them when they go wrong), as do "independent" brands like Woosh. I'd guess the Rockrider E-ST100 is in a similar bracket to the Vengeance. It's likewise not...

    Halfords Crossfuse E-Bike speed accuracy

Here's a partial screengrab of a page from the Bosch Dealer's Software; it clearly shows they can adjust the wheel circumference in mm, and apply a correction to that measurement (?). I'd have them check those first just in case they're what's throwing your speed (and it follows, distance)...

    Halfords Crossfuse E-Bike speed accuracy

Moving the magnet won't change anything. All that's being sensed is each rotation of the wheel and calculated against the set wheel (tyre) circumference from which it can gauge speed and distance. For that reason, to ensure each rotation is being correctly picked up, it's best to put the magnet...

Help! Bafang M600 unresponsive after broken display cable

The only main-market UK manufacturer/supplier using Bafang "M" model mid-motors with CANbus in their e-bikes that I'm aware of are Ebco - new for this 2023 model year. Presumably their dealers will have the Bafang "Best" diagnostics system for plug-in analysis/diagnosis?
