Just a thought, I don't see a rear brake there, is it a roller brake?

How i can increase max speed of my bike?

The OP is new to the forum, has asked his question, started a lively debate, and not been seen again. However, if he does ever come back, he'll now know, for sure, that what he intends is illegal. He has the freedom of choice to carry on or not. He will also know that it will cost him more, to...

what long sleeved thermals/base layers are you brave comuters using

As an under layer, I've been using these, Very thin so doesn't bulk up when multilayering. http://www.marksandspencer.com/2-pack-heatgen-long-sleeve-vests/p/p22468805?image=SD_03_T14_9410_T0_X_EC_90&color=GREY&prevPage=plp&pdpredirect Apart from that it's hiking/walking gear as others have...

How i can increase max speed of my bike?

You would have to increase the voltage. This would mean changing your controller. you would also have to change your battery and buy a higher capacity one as higher speed means less range. Also consider that this bike is only single speed gearing. Also V brakes would need to be upgraded for...

Just in case it helps anyone.

Used these guys recently for Anderson connectors. Hampshire based, seem like genuine Andersons. https://www.torberry.co.uk/product-category/single-modular-connectors/powerpoles-15-to-180-amps/15-30-45-amp-powerpoles

How was your commute this morning?

No snow here, but a bracing -2 with some wind. Managed to get out today (van's being mot'd) with both batteries connected. Got lost actually, and next thing I know I'm nearly at the coast near Aberporth. This meant I ended up doing 20 miles before I got me lunch. Interesting bit was coming...

    Forum running really slow

It's intermittent. Like Oyster, it can take an age to load an actual thread, some times I give up. I too blamed it on broadband (we dream of 6meg). Using an HP laptop or my pc, it's the same. I note that the 3 posts,so far, are Telford and west wales - is there a geographical theme...

    New Bike Questions

AS D8 says, I'd ignore the leds on the battery. With 5 lit on your handlebars it's saying that the battery is at full voltage. However this is no indication of capacity/health of the battery. Is it these leds that go out after you apply power? How is the power applied, by throttle or by...

    New Bike Questions

Is the bike new or second hand? If so how old is the battery and how has it been looked after? The leds on the battery are a voltage indicator. You say they flicker, can you give a bit more detail on that? The 'photo of your controller isn't clear enough to see any detail. On those all the...

Tesla battery powered house and it WORKS

Very interesting find SW. I only have 1.75Kw on my small roof so probably not going to get there. I would imagine that the regs requirements, in this country, would be on the horrendous/make it almost impossible side of things.

    Xiongda YTW-06 has arrived

Think I'd want to try and put the torque arm round the other way so that it's in tension. At the moment the implied motion is trying to push the primary arm backwards into the slot of the secondary arm. Nice workshop by the way!

Best place for battery for e bike conversion

Yup, batteries is complex beasts my friendo_O Buy a cheap one and the cells could be a no name copy of a better cell. Their current rating could be low so giving a decreased range. You need to look beyond headline statement figures. What cells are they (manufacturer/type)? What configuration...
