bafang now use can bus on all of there controllers inc hubs but then you can use another controller for now at least. anything with moving parts will fail but with these locked systems it is making it impossible and forcing you to buy there rip off batts! it is only a matter of time b4...

tho the gears do wear out the bearings go first which in turn wears out everything out faster inside a mid drive motor. m8 has a 750w bafang the gears are fine but it sounds like a bag of spanners as bearings are shot. my bike has a ses wheel and no matter what bearing i put in it there toast...

the only thing that side in the drop out is the 5mm qr axle the motor axle is in the mech hanger as can see the spring in between and why it is destroying the drop outs moving about as steal wins vs alu frames and mech hangers.

thing is that qr might work or make it better but it wont be enough to bend the back of the frame over the motors axle 5mm so just not sitting on the mech hanger one side but both are worn so much id not risk it.

tho from the pics of those drop outs id say it is done its just worn to much and will just get worse as the motor axle is not even in the drop out and just sitting on the mech hanger and that is only held on with one bolt and if that falls out the motor will fall out the frame and big crash.

the 100x5mm one you cant use thru axles on dropouts as the other end screws in to the frame.

thats the can bus controller motor but what most ppl dont realise is different frames need off set sprockets otherwise it screws up the chain line and will eat the cassette and chain in no time. my new cx motor is smaller than the performance one so the off set is now 2.5mm so use a spacer that...

i try to keep my chain as clean as possible because if you dont the crap gets inside the rollers and is what makes the chain stretch so keeping it clean and lubed has saved me a fortune. like ebike branded chains that cost more they are the same thing just at different prices they wont last any...

the kit comes with a adaptor for the torque wrench and has all the torx and hex bits you need had mine for years now.

you can get different size socket adaptors but most bikes use Allan key and torx bolts...

1-5nm will be for handle bar stuff like shifters ect but dont use mine for that and only use it for the axles and pivot bolts on the frame.
