they have always been our competitors. until now, it's level playing field. In two and a half years, they'll make the new rules, we'll have to accept to do business with them.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, there is, but not for people who voted out. There is already a signal that article 50 will be triggered by the end of the year, the pound will remain weak for two more years. A lot of foreign investors were holding off purchasing properties in London. They now have two and a half years...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the threat is the rise of nationalism and fascism. The opportunity is the potential of better trade deals with the 57 countries outside the EU that we currently trade with under EU rules.

for price of bikes, the exchange rate follows very much to the UK current account. Figure for June is -32.5 billions. About as bad as it can be in the range of forecast. I reckon 10% increase is the minimum, 12% is more likely.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

to the dissatisfied brexiters at the next general election, I expect Johnson to say that he is not in charge of the negotiations. Leadsom is die hard brexiter, she may beat Gove.

all our economies are interlinked, if the FTSE recovers then the other indices will too. The next turning point is when parliament votes to repeal the 1972 European Community Act. It could be delayed for a long time. That's before arrticle 50 can be invoked. The Pound opens weaker today.

If you voted IN then here's a second chance for common sense

If you don't like your MP, you vote for another one next time. the essence of democracy is that voters can change their mind. If three months from now, a poll finds that the chosen brexit model does not satisfy brexiters and remainers, then a second referendum is very possible, even logical.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The real damage will come later to ordinary people when prices and unemployment go up. Guess what, the fruit pickers will be the same, but the factory closures will hit the very people who voted out.

    Insult to Democracy

then I am happy. My daughter does not earn enough to buy a flat in London, so I am motivated. I have always liked the idea of self governance but not at any price. At the end of the day, we give power of decision to our leader in good faith that the result will be worth it, better living...

    Insult to Democracy

I am afraid that a lot of Brexiters need proof that the grass isn't greener on the other side. Words like democracy, 'take control' are just words, unless they are part of the ruling classes. We need inflation and factory closures for proofs.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

If you mean the everyone has taken noticed of the result, yes, I agree. If you mean we are moving out of the EU, the process has not yet begun. The next step is to see who will want to be the next PM. They will have to spell out which option they propose we should go for. It seems that the...
