    Brexit, for once some facts.

Hardly a Brexit induced problem. The UK will be joined at the meeting by Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Romania, Hungary, The Czech Republic and Slovakia. Seems more like an EU issue. You talk about shirking responsibility: The Germans have contributed to this problem with their lies and deceit...

Tolls OG. Are you going to volunteer to sit underneath the bridge? :-)

If the bridge doesn't get backing, he could always move France closer to the UK. It would probably be cheaper and less complicated.

It's because their ideas and ambitions are totally unworkable, benefit no one and are easily exposed as rubbish. Their response is aggression, shouting down, bullying, secrecy and extreme censorship. It's the only way they can work because they never have majority support.

Maybe the cars could jump the gap "Dukes of Hazard" style when the bridge is open? We need to stop finding reasons why not, and get behind our Foreign Secretary. He does know what he's talking about, doesn't he?

Simple, all the boats sail underneath it. Or you could have a giant copy of Tower Bridge in London which raises to let the boats through. What about a swing bridge like we used to have on the canals? The solutions are endless and not difficult, you just need a man in overalls to build it and...

Didn’t know of it’s origins, I saw it on Facebook and nabbed it. I never thought it was an actual quote from her, I saw it as a pi$$ take aimed at her mathematical ability. Maybe this socialist’s privately educated son can give her a few lessons in sums.

My wife has had AF for years. It started suddenly whilst she was in hospital for a routine operation. It statrted immediately after she came round from the anaesthetic. It’s controlled with a very minute dose of beta-blockers, so the opinion is that it’s not worth the shock treatment therapy...

Something is going to get you, may as well be something enjoyable. Two dead in their 50s at my running club, but several running very well at 60+, 70+ and one guy just turned 80 and still racing. You just can’t tell. If you’ve inherited a defect from your parents, there’s not much to be done...

I think I might have stumbled upon a solution for the elderly care home crisis, or rather there is a solution in the making. The roads around a school near to my house are choked with fat tyred four wheel drive cars, driven by fat women picking up their fat children. They are then driving the...

The clue was in “last 25 years.” Not just this government, but all governments. PFI was liked by Labour and they used it extensively. I even met a bell-end Labour MP a few weeks ago who was still singing the praises of PFI and advocating that we should be extending its use:- Twat.

This is very true. OG is being a bit naughty in trying to portray Brexit as the Tory Masterplan to reduce the population into slavery. As you correctly point out, the highly privileged Bullingdon Club members David Cameron and George Osbourne where vehemently against leaving the EU, as were a...

I agree, but unfortunately by the time tomorrow morning arrives, events in the Celebrity Big Brother house will have taken priority in the minds of the great British public.

More good news. It’s looking increasingly likely that the UK’s shortage of doctors can be resolved quickly and cheaply. You can now buy medical degrees AND post graduate qualifications in such specialisms as paediatric emergency medicine, anaesthetics and psychiatric medicin. It’s all run from a...

Stop moaning, there is good news as well a bad news here. The boss will still get his obscene wedge of cash! How good is that? The company will most likely be sold to a foreign investor for £1and if we ask the new buyer nicely, they will allow the UK taxpayer to retain the company’s debt and...

The programme that I watched last night concerned the coronation and the procedures, protocol and regalia associated with that. Most of the coronation regalia goes back centuries and was used to coronate royalty pre Oliver Cromwell. I found it really interesting. I think our present queen is...

I watched and enjoyed the program last night. I like history and it interests me. The traditions and regalia associated with royalty goes back centuries and I think it’s fascinating and entertaining. I agree that it’s not to everyone’s taste, but there are a great many people in the United...
