Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

I still don't get the relationship between tongsheng and to7. China has become quite protective of intellectual property rights in recent years. The casing and axle assembly look very alike. That's asking for troubles without an agreement

    Brexit, for once some facts.

between 'make USA great again' and 'make Russia great again', maybe the EU and China should unite.

    Wau bikes

for this price range (£1,999-£2,999), the Wisper range is difficult to beat. They are properly finished bikes. If you need things like GPS tracker, you can put an airtag or a Vodafone Curve on the bike.

I did try sip clients on my phone without much success a couple of years ago, gave up at the end. Best result I got was with a small MS Surface laptop in my garden. You can still see the screen and hear the ring.

Offices use feature SIP phones (yealink, cisco, grandstream etc). When someone works at home, they just get given a spare handset and I push their profile to the new handset from BT website. I wish android sip client were better but unfortunately, they drop the line quite often and they miss...

I have never found sip clients on mobile phones satisfactory. Still, SIP phones in offices don't work well with Vigin Media cable fixed IP. The lines drop now and then for no reason in the middle of a call. They work OK with VM dynamic IP though.

one of my customers' office is located in an area where phone signal is poor, ADSL is only up to 12mb/s and no cityfibre. The only high speed provider is Virgin Business Cable. They pay £100 a month for 100mb/s service with static IP. The problem is their technology is 20 years old. The router...

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

40:1 is the reduction ratio of the Tongsheng TSDZ2. That's what helps Tongsheng to reduce the weight of their motor compared to the BBS01 (20:1). The second feature is the blue one way clutch roller bearing, it helps to reduce weight too. Both features are not without downside though.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The recent troubles with US banks could have been engineered by those who want to topple the US dollar as the world's premier trade and reseve currency. I can't see that the EU would ever want to move their reserve currency from dollar to Yuan.

    Another Ebike conversion kit death

you shouldn't. It's a case of use it or lose it. A forgotten battery deteriorates even more quickly than one that is frequently used and after about 6 months, it can get stuck in an unbalanced state.

    Another Ebike conversion kit death

The problem is batteries are at their most vulnerable state when 100% full. If your charger goes a little over the safe voltage, it can set the weakest cell block on fire. Cheap batteries are made with grade B or C cells. They are usually mixed together, their capacity can vary from one cell to...

    Another Ebike conversion kit death

The solution is compulsory product liability insurance. If the seller does not have adequate insurance, its directors are made to be personally liable. At present, only manufacturers are obliged to have product liability. If you buy directly from a website, how would you know if you are covered?

    Another Ebike conversion kit death

I have looked into this in the past but I think it is unlikely. There are no UK based manufacturers of cases, connectors, silicon wires, insulation etc. We would have to import even UN3480 cardboards to make the cartons for packaging. You need to be big enough to get the cells and electronics...

    Another Ebike conversion kit death

We pay for product liabilities insurance. That's the main reason why we sell whole kits, parts are supplied only for servicing our kits. If something goes wrong, we wouldn't try to shift the blame on other suppliers. Our parts come directly from the factories to the containers then to us, not...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

it's not just the gilts. Large banks participate in interest and default swaps. If DB went down, holders of their bonds and insurance (default swaps) won't be repaid. The cost of insuring bonds issued by DB went up surprisingly fast a couple of weeks ago, prompting investors to sell their bonds...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

In a couple of decades, third world countries would soon be able to buy small and cheap nuclear reactors, demand for fossil fuels will crash. So yes, I think electricity price will come down. However, energy price has been a tax tool for a very long time. Just look at how much taxes we pay on...
