    Legal Pitfalls

Your bike should take at least 6.9 seconds to reach the 20 metres line. You can try it without the throttle and pedal as little as possible to let the motor do most of the work.

In comparison to superconductors and hydrogen fusion, quantum computing is pie in the sky. The best QC can come up with is factorisation of prime numbers. On that, the only proof is QCs can do up to 3 * 7 (both are primes) = 21 faster than you can program your PC for the algorithm. Programmers...

It may be bad for the banks now, but I don't think it will spread. Expect bank interest to be lowered a little in the next few months.

Davie should have apologised to all the users of the BBC instead of trying to say that he has done the right thing. Clearly, the forthcoming illegal immigration bill is half baked and won't work. Theoretically, hydrogen needs 30kbars to superconduct. They managed to lower the requirement to 10 kbars. It's an interesting work but to go from 10 kbars to 1 is still a long way.

we have more oxygen in the earth crust (46%) than any other element so we won't run out of it. The risk is we'll choke to death with just 0.5%-1% CO2 in the air we breathe.

I can't see the attraction of SMRs. I thought we should concentrate our efforts in producing a commercial GEN4 reactor as soon as possible though a state owned company.
