Not a problem unless you mean cost wise - 50 to 100 fitted I had to swap my forks when I converted as I got a chunkier motor which wouldn't fit on my forks (vet similar to yours)

Ahh, I think you have another problem with the bike - it has hub brakes Since you are replacing the hub you will either have no front brake ....or you need new fork which can also take calipers (don't think Tongxins are disc compatible ? Not sure)

    Tongxin/Cytronex/Pashley Guvnor

Meant to say you can get away with a pretty small battery if only 15 miles with only occasional using power. No need to charge at work

Others may know better Otherwise its a...

    Tongxin/Cytronex/Pashley Guvnor

Yep , they work with 700c wheels (cytronex use them on these rims) You'll need a compatible controller and a PAS sensor (and throttle if desired) Battery - well that's up to you really. How far do you travel ? Is weight important to you as some lithium chemistries are much lighter than others...

    Booster Battery experiment

Hi all I'm going to try use a booster battery pack solution to get increased speed from my 8fun kit. There is so much info on ES that I got totally lost. I hope this thread can help others choose to do this (or not if it fails utterly). If it works then Its very cheap as I've spent £63inc...

Loss of power all of a sudden.

My sudden loss of power was eventually traced to the handlebar panel The finger was never really pointed in that direction and so everything else was tested first Justva thought you have a spare to test (or can find one in d8veh shed ?! I'd bet my hat there is one ;)
