    New air jet kit

Yes, they could have tried harder than that - Avril Poisson would be my choice.

One Rule for Us another for the Police?

The Peelers were set up to protect the property of the rich and they haven't forgotten that.

    Industrial Accident

I repaired them. Jeez, you wouldn't believe the dangerous condition some of them got into - and once, when I put a red sticker on one, saying "Dangerously Defective, Do Not Use", all hell broke loose from the owner of the company. Feck's sake, the chains were hanging off, badly worn brakes...

    Better gloves or bar mitts??

For the past 20 years I've had a set of internal bar-end heaters, originally made by a bloke in New Zealand, but was selling them in the UK. I think he's long since disappeared, but similar internal heaters are in common use in snowmobiles in Canada, and are easily available. They're fantastic...

    A Tale of Two Cities

The French press are effectively gagged about reporting such stuff, aren't they, under so-called privacy laws.

    Temperature Soars in MK

It was a balmy 11.5C here. Still bleedin' colder than that in the workshop, though.

Notice all the jump cuts - how many times did he land on his head/backside?

    Industrial Accident

True story; I was working in a large warehouse full of bottles of a fizzy drink like Poke, servicing their forktrucks, when I noticed a pallet stacked with bottles of the stuff that everyone was helping themselves from. I was told (by the manager) to take a couple/few, but not take the pee, like...

    36v horn

It can either earth the primary on the coil(s) or simply cut off the ignition 12V source, depending on complexity, and we all know the Japanese love a bit of complexity on their wiring systems.

    Shed / Garage Alarm

Eagle; I spent about the same amount of money buying used commercial CCTV cameras and housings. Some of them were hardly used and a couple were brand new relatively hi-def full colour thrown in because the seller didn't know what they were (they were a strip-out of a warehouse). All the cameras...

How to make a rack for battery

Cheers, I'll have a look now I know what it was fitted to - some sort of starting point.

    Front bike light comparison viewer

I'm utterly gobsmacked at the money people seem to be willing to pay for some not very good lighting.

Can we stick to the title subject please :)

I'm fairly sure it might possibly be, and even a chance of it. Anyway, I'm building a properly insulated workshop and carrying on insulating the rest of my house to a reasonable standard. Even if the winters were mild from now on, I'm starting to feel the cold more as I get older, so it's...

How to make a rack for battery

Nice neat job. The sidestand looks much more substantial than the cheap POS I had - any idea where it came from ?

    e-Brompton after thousand of miles

From the pics it looks like your rim brakes have worn a deep groove in the rim (that's normal with lots of use) and there's not much strength in it. Rim (with rim brakes) are a service item, unfortunately, so you'll have to bite the bullet and replace them.

And, of course; Brussels Sprouts as methane generation devices would be paying homage to our masters in the EU as similar.
