Well all I know is the cable is female which goes to the controller and has that yellow connector on the end and from throttle is same but male. I don’t really know what controller it is until I check it out. I know the display is a G51

Yes I could also have dont that, but like i said above Ive now orderd a male to male lead see how it all go if not then cut wires and solder plus heatshrink them

Well yes I was considering doing that, But now have ordered this male to male lead below, as at controlller its female and at thumb throttle its also female

Dam I am so mad now as I have just noticed this 2nd thumb throttle is female, but i need a male pins one as connection at bike is female too, can you get a male to male extension lead, or is that not going to make throttle work

Well That looks same as 2nd one i have ordered, also I had same thumb throttle on a electric moped ERider I had and sold and I quite liked that type of throttle, so hope it will work on bike

Yeah tight as a virgin LOL I will try again, Im still waiting for thumb throttle and handlebar grips, so I may do them all at once, as no point in fitting mirror, until Ive taken off grip throttle and replaced with normal grips and thumb throttle

Yeah maybe its best to keep it upright then. anyway What a plonker I am as I got my zefal mirror arrive today, I was in the city so collected it from a shop. thought I would fix it to the bike whilst out, But no way would it slot onto handle bar end too big. here is a image of what I measured...

Yeah that’s true didn’t realise that. As the thumb one is narrow so should be all good. Be glad when the zefal mirror arrives then at last can take off this useless right mirror

I have just ordered this set as you can just cut end off easy enough, Plus there is lines in grip so I may need to cut off 1 section at lines, so it fits flush to end including thumb throttle...

Ok Just ordered one, hope it is same as my grip throttle connections looks same. can you also buy handlebar grips with the end off, as I now need to remove grip throttle, which needs a grip now with no end to slot the zefal mirror in handle bar end

Whats easier a grip throttle or a Thumb one I do prefer a thumb one, will see about getting one later, Just wanted peoples opinions here whats best. would it make any difference to the speed of the bike, as Im sure its same

so just say it won’t work are the wires colour coded then at female end plus at male end from throttle

But how can I be sure if the thumb throttle connection is going to work right, I know it looks same yellow 3 pin plug. But I didnt really want to cut off the connectors. if its same plug male to female wont the pins be same then. also when you say heartstrings tube dont you mean heat shrink tube

I know i am asking a different question now, But Just curious, is it possible to get a thumb throttle for my bike, Im no hurry at present, But just curious, as it has to have same connection plug as the grip throttle has now its 3 pins, these are not very clear pics
