If you are still rocking dual Xeon, then the mouse would of cost more than the aging server! I bet it is a good mouse though, when it comes to parts & component brands most of the time, imho if you pay more for quality you get quality & if something lasts a few years then value has been...

Taxi changes direction at traffic lights

One really stupid question, as the only trackball I remember was installing one on a CAD CNC machine back in my technician days, I fell in love with it but never used it nor learnt CAD. I can't remember if they have an actual optical sensors underneath as a mouse would or do they remain...

Sounds like me, I replaced a ribbon cable in the firefly camera I had & cracked the screen in the process, it still worked but not for for long.

If you find the USB and fix the switches, I wouldn't say no to parting with a few quid, to cover labour, parts and future project tax, if they work mind, my soldering skills aren't up to scratch enough to do anything complex so broken would be no good.

Yer I was looking after mentioning trackball, I think with the lack of "wireless" keyboard with trackball, a stand-a-lone trackball sounds perfect or I could buy the wired cherry and just use my wireless for TV, games etc. I got me a new Xbox XS controller with Bluetooth 5, its awesome so beats...

Taxi changes direction at traffic lights

Never looked into Vimeo Yes HR should be cool, however I am still limited, of all things by my Microsoft wireless "US" keyboard, it's an all-in-one with basic functions, track pad. If I really, ergonomically & in comfort, want to video edit on the new system I will have to plumb for a £100+...

Taxi changes direction at traffic lights

Aye PC's are only as strong as the weakest part, assuming the 1.8" HDD was ZIF?? I am very surprised it had an mSATA connector onboard or did you zif to msata? Bet it's snappy as hell now & going 240gb from 80gb is always nice. For the mSATA did you get NAND? Did you ever see the HDD size they...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

SVB, follow the bailout money, something odd happened, 20 Billion was given to "protect" pay roll/SME from loosing all their deposits, but if we look closely 13.3 Billion went to 10 account holders, did they just bailout 10 Billionaires? I suppose time will tell.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Fundamentally, I don't disagree with your conclusion, yes energy does get much cheaper, however will that translate to lower end user prices...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Robert Peston is getting wiser in his old age or perhaps the fact the jackboot of his former employer is off his neck. Some short sellers overseas are holding a belief that some "whale" is rigging energy prices globally, it may translate to; get prices as low a possible, buy en masse and sell...

    Yosepower hub kits.

The main reason why I stayed with front hubs, less to go wrong. I only purchase spares that can transfer to another motor, controller, cables etc.
