I lived near here: https://goo.gl/maps/WBtfkBWPArkiUoyF9 Not absolutely certain whether or not that house was ours.

F-22 only has a 910 kg bomb capacity. A fleabite compared to the 32,000 kg of a B52.

And this is what it was like: https://news.usc.edu/71860/remembering-the-night-the-berlin-wall-went-up-and-when-it-came-down/ Any EXIF data wasn't there when the photos were taken. :)

Visited various features but I can't honestly say which things I saw on that trip rather than other visits - except the military lining the streets. I wasn't there when the wall fell - but when it was built.

It wasn't a holiday - just an afternoon on a coach trip. Never been in a gaol!

Sounds absolutely awful. Could cause lots of inner confusion if there is a clash in the movements implied by the virtual world and the reality of the physical car. It is bad enough on a train if you have drifted off or been engrossed in a book, then look up and see a station or another train...

Depends on definitions, but: Fanta is a brand of fruit-flavored carbonated soft drinks created by Coca-Cola Deutschland under the leadership of German businessman Max Keith. There are more than 200 flavors worldwide. Fanta originated in Germany as a Coca-Cola substitute in 1940 due to the...

Yes, West to East. And back. A coach trip for military (probably British only) families, which ran something like every Tuesday afternoon. The building of the wall wasn't going to stop us.

I note what I have just read after lots of companies introducing boycotts: McDonald’s Corp and PepsiCo Inc are among companies continuing to operate in Russia, prompting New York state’s pension fund - a shareholder in the pair - to urge them to consider pausing their operations there.

I was reading yesterday about how the extended "hacker" army is doing all sorts of things like positively identifying Russian military equipment, status, locations. And precisely geotagging photos.

Well, I have seen tanks, artillery, personnel carriers, and soldiers densely packed down the main thoroughfares of a city. And a very heightened alert level all round. That was when I went from West Berlin to East Berlin the day after the Berlin Wall was established.

Perhaps we should ensure that, in contrast to banks, accountants, social media, air transport, etc., which are all being blocked from Russia, we actively encourage MacD, KFC (Kremlin Fried Chicken?), BK, etc., to open more and more branches in Russia?

Other than in literal siege situations, they pretty much always leak very badly. It looks like the current sanctions are, possibly, the most complete and well-defined we have ever seen. No - I am not saying they will work. But they stand a better chance than many previous attempts.

Some time ago, weeks or months, there was a TV program about a railway used almost exclusively for transporting phosphate from Belarus. Today, for the first time, I saw a comment about this: However, Russia and its ally, Belarus, are key producers of potash, which is used in the production of...

That's why Moldova has urgently applied for EU membership. If I were there, I would be very concerned and not in the least reassured that you have said Putin has no other intent. (Technically, he might make it a separate invasion - but all part of the same push.)
