Help! Throttle not working on Samebike LO26 (Error Message E 08)

There are, but the only ones I know of are in East London not Wales. One of them here sells original replacment parts for Samebike inc. throttles for the LO26 (select it in the drop-down menu): (1) SAMEBIKE Accessory throttle – Mark4Shop (markshop.co.uk)

    Bit Of Advice Please.

Is this it? I'm not sure it's a good choice of e-bike for you given your difficulties/"dodgy hip". It may be lighter than your old bike, but it's a steel frame that weighs in at 21kg. There are several other 20" wheeled e-bikes (aluminium frame) that are a few kilos lighter for just a little...

    Woosh Woosh Rambletta

AFAIK, there are at least 3 UK Fiido dealers offering service and repairs, including warranty work (although to be fair these all seem to be in London). But yes, if you can stretch to it (£1000 vs £600), I'd say the Rambletta is the better e-bike overall, provided it meets all your needs.

    Power glitch?

At what speed is it that you feel it's trying to slow you down? Although the headline speed says 34mph, the ad says the kit is supplied restricted to 250w and 16mph - the UK legal limit. Once you hit that limit, that's a lot of weight to be hauling around without any assistance - the kit weight...

    Replacement key for battery …

Pendleton is a Halfords own-brand, named/under licence after Victoria Pendleton, the Olympics track cyclist twice Gold (and a Silver) medal winner. Yes, you would have had 4 keys: They're not marked/numbered so cannot be replaced. As a rule, I always tie/ring one key to the charger lead so at...

    Replacement key for battery …

IIRC, older Pendletons with the Phylion battery were supplied with 4 keys. If you lost all of them, you were snookered. Newer Pendletons with Battle batteries come with 2 numbered keys. Halfords can order you replacements if you know what the serial number is. If you don't, you're again...

    Woosh Woosh Rambletta

Says who? Fiido say on their own website: "FIIDO electric bicycles have excellent waterproof performance, however, please note that the wading height cannot be higher than the hub to prevent damage to the motor when passing through pooled water. Avoid washing the e-bike with a high-pressure...

    looking for electric folder.

Yes I said the Brompton folded "smaller than most but not by much". You mis-quoted that as "Brompton doesn't fold much smaller than average". On many mixed-mode commutes even using public transport, being "small enough" is sufficient, and 20" wheel e-bikes are IMHO more comfortable. And I called...

    Rambletta or Raleigh Motus

And Bosch home appliances aren't made in Germany either.

Who said that? The point I'd make is that many other folders fold small enough to fit where they need to.

    Eco expedition bike

Later versions had a KT LCD3 display - easily available. It's shown in the Owners Manual here. That 3rd version dates from 2015 onwards. If yours is older, I have no idea what was used: You'd best post a picture to see if anyone recognises what it is.

Not in my dictionary. It means they are obsessive to the point of being blinded to the alternatives. Cheap e-bikes are sometimes cheap because they're not carrying and charging for a "premium" brand name - and nearly always they're not being made in Greenford London at £150+ per sq ft for...

    looking for electric folder.

There are literally 100's of credible folding e-bikes available - 95% of them cost less than a Brompton electric. The best for you will largely depend upon your height, your weight, what your commute consists of (train, bus, tube, tram etc), wether you need to carry it up stairs frequently...

    Bicycle industry fights e-bike ‘tampering’

My guess would be that Bosch assume a responsible dealer wouldn't do that, and ebike shop haven't told them. I doubt any maker would be happy replacing parts under warranty if there's a possibility they've been used beyond the parameters pre-set at the factory. You could always email Bosch...

    looking for electric folder.

Who are these people? There are many here with folding e-bikes, but precious few (any?) with Bromptons. There are many Brompton fanboys telling you everything you need to know about Bromptons on YouTube - Everyday Cycling has done some excellent content on both the standard and electric...

    Fiido D4S or Estarli E20

I bought the D11 instead of a D4S because it's a little bit lighter and I preferred the styling, but in all technical respects it's near identical to a D4S. IMHO the D4S is better value, and if money was an issue I'd happily own a D4S instead. I'd say the D4S is very sturdy and notably better...

    Fiido D4S or Estarli E20

I'm not trying to sway you one way or the other, but if you're erring towards a Fiido D4S, this may prove helpful from my own findings before buying a Fiido myself: The cheapest place to buy a Fiido D4S is (most often) direct from Fiido themselves; that way you're not adding a resellers...

    Fiido D4S or Estarli E20

Your 6-mile ride isn't demanding for any ebike providing you're not excessively heavy and you put in at least some effort. The D4S is a good, low-cost solid buy for around £600. It's been around for a couple of years and as the many reviews you've seen is fairly well liked. Unusually for many...

e-Bike on a bike rack. With or without the battery?

IIRC one of the manufacturers advised strongly against carrying ebikes on rear carriers. Although the advice was aimed principally at RV/Campervan owners, the reasoning was that road spray and dirt is sucked into the rear of the vehicle from a vacuum created by air movement over the vehicle. The...
