    My friend bought a folder Batribike and is more than pleased. He is a very unfit 67 and uses the throttle button/switch about 20% of the time and he gets about 25 miles or so range. In comparison to my Panasonic drive system its noisy but it was half of the price so you get what you pay for...

    Most folks would suggest a test-drive , i tried 6 different peds. before i settled on mine ,seriously try as many as possible then start to find the best deal - but as you initially said service/back-up has to play a significant part also. Happy hunting /TESTING Al.

    Just a thought try OnBike at Kidderminster which isn't far from you they have a number of folders to try and are good guys to deal with btw. a friend of mine bought the Batribike folder from them and is delighted Al.

    As a subscriber to the mag. its far from perfect as you and others have outlined But at least it does pedelec reviews from time to time, apart from this forum where else can we find out whats out there?
