Cyclamatic Power Plus with 36v battery and controller

billyx22, I was just wondering if you've accidentally pressed the red button on the handlebars to off. I seem to remember doing this a few times, thinking the bike was broken, but it was the button.

Breaking a bike chain using a chain tool?

I'll have to fit the motor first, before I can see if my front derailleur stop, can adjust far enough to be used as a chain guide. BTW, waiting on Eclipse to get a stock of batteries in, so in the meantime, just building up some knowledge and tools to get the job done without fuss. Then again...

Cyclamatic Power Plus with 36v battery and controller

I'm sure other members will suggest their own ways of checking. Power to the throttle battery lights is a good sign :) What I would do personally, is firstly make sure the bike is on a full bike stand, or one which lifts the rear wheel off the ground. Mishaps with the bike coming to life whilst...

Cyclamatic Power Plus with 36v battery and controller

You may have just disturbed a connector when putting the wiring back into the bottom bracket controller holder. I think you should carefully pull it all back out again, check security of the connectors and also check if any of the connector pins have backed out of their socket. I remember...

Cyclamatic Power Plus with 36v battery and controller

Just wondering if when you slid the circuit board back into the casing, whether you have put it in at an angle and shorted the bottom of the circuit board on the metal casing.

Breaking a bike chain using a chain tool?

Breaking a bike chain using a chain tool?

When I finally get my BBS02 kit, I will need to break the chain to remove the front derailleur assembly. I see on the actual chain it has KMC narrow stamped on it. Would this tool be suitable for the job? http://www.halfords.com/cycling/tools-maintenance/tools/topeak-universal-bike-chain-tool

    Ultra budget lithium technology battery

I always chuckle when a retailer crosses out some totally outrageous RRP figure, to replace it with a wallet friendly price. Like we're all stupid enough to fall for that one lol

Buying my first pedelac advice please

Welcome to the forum Carol :) Nice looking bike, but a bit expensive for what it is. The motor is pretty much the same one used on a lot of the generic shopping bikes. So is the battery! Do you fancy any of the step throughs on this website? http://www.kudoscycles.com/index.php They are well...

    Brake calipers

You'll have to be a bit more frugal with the solder on your shunt mods. Must be like having an electric fire strapped to your bike
