I assume there aren't many similar products! I saw what I now realise must have been one of those coming in the opposite direction the other day and wondered what it was.

It was sudden, paroxysmal pain. Lasting seconds. Followed by discomfort that slowly resolved over minutes/hours. But always expecting the next one... And, if I was at work, I'd likely hit my head on the desk several times. Lasted months or possibly years - you put things like that out of your...

Imagine, the BBC finds a journalist with a brexiteer background, and appoints them as bidden. Then Knight sees the person was a turncoat who had realised what a disaster it had become and completely disavowed their earlier support of brexit. Don't think Knight would be happy despite BBC doing...

Mine was very similar but didn't quite fit TN. I likened it to a bullet hitting just below my ear/on my TMJ. Obviously, never having been hit by a bullet, that is ridiculous. And in the current news background, it might read as tasteless.

Yep - four vitamers (cyano-, hydroxo-, adenosyl- and methyl-). Plus (ever more confusingly) several extremely similar substances which are not active. Yes - not pleasant. :) No MS. No Parkinson's. Jaw issues are so difficult because there is nothing they don't affect.

It is questionable whether B12 does cause cancer. I know it is suggested/claimed. B12 - and every other nutrient - permits a cancer to grow. Low B12 might mean a tumour grows more slowly. But there is a lot of questioning as to whether it is actually a causative factor. A number of years ago I...

This is not contradicting you - your experience, I'm sure, is as you say. But my experience is that a lot of younger doctors know certain areas quite well, but have next to no understanding of others. For example, Pernicious Anaemia occurs when someone is unable to absorb vitamin B12. The...

I much prefer forums - if person A says something stupid, person B can point that out. I just wanted to make it possible to avoid dominating this thread with thyroid issues! I do have a suggestion. I'd rather send by message but I cannot start a conversation with you.

If you take levothyroxine, it does mostly replace the thyroid hormone produced by your thyroid gland. However, things are much, much more complicated than that. In someone like me, in whom the thyroid simply was not producing enough thyroid hormone, taking levothyroxine first made up the...

Hypothyroidism really messed up my sleep pattern. I'd go to bed, fall asleep, then wake up anywhere from half to two hours later. Often remaining awake for hours. Once I started with levothyroxine, things improved, slowly. I have always taken mine at bed-time.

Ozone is a nasty poison. Even at the tiny levels produced by laser printers it can and does cause health effects. One of the reasons to be very sceptical of people who claim to offer ozone disinfection and similar. It can work but the safety aspects are important. At high altitude, it protects us.
