Help! its dead pal - whats up with it ?

There are two possibilities: 1. The battery is knackered and needs replacing. That will be so if it's an old and well used battery, though I'd expect to see the voltage go down by about 3V as soon as you start to draw power. 2. Connection fault, in particular, the soldering on the back of the...

Could it be a short circuit in the lighting? Seriously though, it's telling you what the problem is. Check the wires from the lights all the way to where they come from.

My battery keeps dropping to 12v within a second.

It does it when your battery is knackered. It can also happen when there's a short circuit, like when a mosfet is blown.

Help! its dead pal - whats up with it ?

What do you mean by the battery being solid at 29v. Does it stay like that when the bike goes forward and cuts out, or do you only measure it before or/and after the event?

    Power connections

Yes, solder and heatshrink them. Make sure that the pronged bit goes in the battery the right way round. temporarily install it wherever it goes then check with a meter to make sure that the red is the positive. You can't always go by the colours.

Before anything, take your cranks off and check that the shaft fits through the bottom bracket tube and reaches far enough through to get the arrangement on the other end on properly.

    Is my TSDZ2 engine dead?

I very much doubt that it's dead. You need to tell us a bit more about your situation. Which battery do you have? What is its exact voltage measured with a meter?

Need help to Work out how many magnets are inside my hub motor

It's nothing to worry about. It's only the nano-bots that are slightly magnetic. That's necessary so that they all align the right way when you pass the programming scanner. The only problem is that the magnetic field emitted by some ebike motors can interfere with them and give weird side...
