It can be done here internally but there is a process to be gone through. It also makes the bike illegal to use in the UK anywhere the public have access and voids the warranty. All the best, David

Hi Ian, not this is not only incorrect it's inadvisable. The W108 manual has been taken down and it is in the process of being re written. You can leave the battery connected to the bike forever if you wish. Just turn it off at the switch. Thanks for your help on this one. All the best, David
