    Coyote connect

The first test is for the mosfets in the controller. Disconnect the three thick motor wires (blue, green and yellow) and the two thick battery wires (red and black). Set the meter to measure KOhms resistance. Measure between the red battery wire and each of the three motor wires. Repeat the...

For Sale Clear out - all sorts of stuff

You can't tell if items sell or not, neither can you check out buyers. The buyers bid at the last moment and when they don't pay, the item still shows as sold. According to EBay, I sold thousands of pounds of stuff, so soon the tax man will get interested, but it was the same guitar sold 4 times...

For Sale Clear out - all sorts of stuff

That's an ordinary RG. This is a J-custom, and it's gold leaf, not gold painted. I'd hope to get a lot more than £1600. There are loads of different gold Ibanezs, but they only made 15 gold leaf ones - 5 Gold 1s, and 10 Gold 2s that only had gold on the front with added bird motifs.

    Did you check the connector?

    Coyote connect

Check the motor connection. If there's a connectot about 10" from the axle, make sure it's oushed in all the way to the marked line, not just in tight. If that doesn't fix it, you have to look at the other end of the motor cable that's inside the compartment at the front of the battery. Look in...

    SW900 lcd error 10 HELP

Error 10 is a communication fault between the controller and LCD. The LCD works independently from the controller. As long as it has power, it'll switch on, but if it can't communicate, there'll be no PAS function (sometimes fixed level 1) and no speed display. You have to find out why it won't...

For Sale Clear out - all sorts of stuff

I used to play a lot until arthritis and neuropathy got the better of my fingers. Guitars are interesting in that each one has a unique set of characteristics. Some look nice with beautifully crafted marquetry, some valuable for investment, others sound really good, some play really nicely, and...

    Worst Pedelec Accident?

I think that the circumstances in these two events events would hav played out the same with or without the protection. Only the outcome would have been different. There wasn't really any way that the risk could be subconciously or otherwise adjusted. I always took down the sails at the end of...

For Sale Clear out - all sorts of stuff

Motor wheels are too big and awkward, and the carriers won't take batteries. that dowsn't leave much. I don't like selling on Ebay now. I sold one of my guitars recently. It took about three months of hassle. I had no end of questions and three non-paying winners. Each time you get a non-payer...

    Worst Pedelec Accident?

Is that aimed at me? If so, I've never preached to anyone about wearing helmets. I don't recommend anyone wear one nor not wear one. That's a point of personal choice. What I'm saying is that you'll always have more protection when wearing one than not, and if you're happy to run the risk of not...

    carrera crossfire battery issue

It's very difficult without doing a capacity test. If you're handy with electrics, you can install a wattmeter to measure its capacity, which is difinitive. You can compare the actual watt-hours with what they say in their advert...

That's the problem. I presently have 9 x7, 8x6 and 16 x10 all full. The garden at my new place is about 15ft square and terraced. i might be able to squeeze a 6x4 in somewhere, but I'll need that for garden tools.

    Can anyone help me here?

That switch is to show the battery charge level LEDs - nothing to do with the functioning of the bike. We're wasting our time trying to guess what the problem is. Get him to sign up here and tell us what's going on.

The only newish 36v one is an Oxydrive bottle battery that's never been used. I have the rest of the kit too, so it would make sense to keep it as a complete kit ready to go. I've got a few good cell-packs for silver fish batteries and a few LiFePO4 packs for rack batteries that last forever...

Gazelle Orange Innergy - intermittent loss of power assist function

The system will shut down if the voltage drops to about 31V. If that's what you see, there's no option but to get a better battery.

    Worst Pedelec Accident?

the Oxygen guys were my friends at the time. they've all moved on, so i don't know anybody there now. Top speed was about 33mph, but acceleration was insane. It reminded me of my old GSXR1100, like being catupulted forward, nothing like a normal ebike. Unfortunately, they stopped doing the...

    Worst Pedelec Accident?

It was just a fun event. My bike would have won hands down. It had 2kw in the front, 2kw from the back motor and 1.5kw from the crank-motor, so 5.5kw overall. The acceleration was unbelievable. It had the power of an average 125cc motorbike, but only 1/4 of the weight and a lot more torque. I...

    Bikes available to buy now

You really need 48v when you're not very strong, have 90kg mass and hills, Some crank-drive bikes would also be OK, but a lot more expensive. This is the only one that comes to mind if you want a stepthrough type. https://www.leoncycle.co.uk/NCM-Milano-Trekking-E-Bike
