    Brexit, for once some facts.

I've come up with: Download capacity (surely not with Google & Apple stores being behind it?) Fear of vast numbers of technical issues (causing problems to people's phones) Fear of bad publicity Embarrassment that it is so late Virtually no testing between the NI and S apps and this E&W app...

The E&W exposure app is now available. Phenomenal publicity it has received - so far none that I have seen except a US site!

Far more likely to be on the beach in the snow here in Wales than ever I was in England. :)

Use of a sterile wipe is highly variable these days. If the skin is generally pretty clean, there is likely little benefit.

I am very aware of Pernicious Anaemia - a B12 deficiency disorder which requires B12 injections. Throughout Covid-19, untold numbers of sufferers have been refused these essential injections. (Frequency is usually 8 or 12 weekly.) Being told no chance or told to take oral B12 - which they...

I suspect that awareness of no mobile signal might be higher round here. I am on Three and partner on EE (well, a piggyback onto EE), and we don't do too badly. But there are quite a few places there is absolutely nothing. I hate using my phone for doing things - always go back to PC (or maybe...

But probably very much wasted as most patients wouldn't have known about it.

If the KAP fits... We go from only a notional border to an Irish Sea border plus a Kent border - and probably several more around the country. That really sets us free.

The answer is depressingly simple. Some of them are the companies that are hugely skilled at gaining government contracts. Whether they built those skills up or were merely advised/pushed appropriately. The others seem to be in the right place at the right time.

I was absolutely shocked by the emptiness of some shelves yesterday - when we just went to get a few top up things. If anyone had asked, I'd likely have agreed that panic buying would come back. But when we went, I hadn't even seen it mentioned.

I suspect that the existing SmartFreight® Group might have something to say about this. Quite possibly in the courts. https://smartfreight.com/terms-and-conditions/ I think there must be a stuck key/auto-spelling correction. "World-beaten" is what they mean. Surely?

Could this be a significant contribution to managing Covid-9? Or just a minor bit-player with no measurable impact?

Is the government wondering if cutting the army to the smallest numbers since 1790 was such an excellent plan? Even if you include reserves, you can go back to the 1830s. Aha! Re-introduce National Service. They can all go into barracks for a few weeks to ensure optimal cross-infection and...

Come off it Gove - that's all project fear, isn't it? Reloaded? With a Vengeance? The Next Level? Or the rather amusingly neat Part Deux?

On the basis that we do really need data transfer between us and the EU, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see agreement to implement EU safeguards as part of any trade agreement - eventually. That is, even if we go no-deal to begin with. Could NI be subject to EU safeguards even if the rest of...

"A stitch in time saves nine." So glad our so-called PM said that. I hadn't realised... (And I had to stop watching because I can't stand watching his hands. Funny how that also applies to Trump.)

Let us hope that our so-called PM doesn't intend to be world beating (whether seriously or as a bluff) in some areas: US reaches 200,000 coronavirus deaths amid fears for coming winter
