Battery Voltage (42V) & Charging Voltage (42V) Questions.

I mean by power consumption WH/mile. I don't understand what you are trying to say, but this article explains the motor constants Kv and Km. Enginneers use them to work out how the motor would behave in a bike. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_constants Remember a motor needs a controller...

Battery Voltage (42V) & Charging Voltage (42V) Questions.

At 42V, the 48V 500W motor draws less Amps than 36V 500W motor. The difference depends on the motor design but generally, you lose about 25% power when you run 48V motor on 36V battery. The power consumption depends mainly on the speed you ride. As you cannot reach the same speed with a lower...

Converting from two to three wheels

that tricycle is quite straightforward to convert with a legal BBS01 250W and a 15AH downtube battery. Don't go for high power, the trike is not stable in corners, so you need to limit speed to about 10mph. If you take your trike to Woosh in Southend, they'll do it for you in a couple of hours...

Battery Voltage (42V) & Charging Voltage (42V) Questions.

your battery is probably standard 36V Lithium. Flat, 33V, fully charged: 42V. The standard Lithium charger has output voltage 42V maxium 2A without fan, 2.5A to 4A with fan. Stick with your 42V/2A charger.

That second video is concerning. if the cassette was tight before and now it's not, the thread on the cassette adapter may have gone. Use the lockring tool to undo the lockring and remove the cassette to check the state of the thread.

    kudos Typhoon power loss

speed reading drops to zero: there are two possible reasons. 1) your bike does not have an external speed sensor, the controller counts the motor pulses and the motor has stopped, we still don't know what causes the motor to stop.. 2) your bike has an external speed sensor (you see a magnet...

Oxygen MTB 13AH lateral play in rear cassette

it seems that your lockring is undone. If this is not the case, then look for a missing spacer. The cassette adapter on the motor side is made for a 9-speed, you have 8-speed, you need a spacer.
