On the Wisper Torque, there is an F setting which turns off the torque sensor and relies on cadence sensor alone. Use the torque setting to get going then change to F setting, or simply twist the throttle, this will also bypass the torque settings. All the best, David

Most bikes will accelerate quickly if set to do so. The problem is that this can cause wheel spin in the wet or on gravel. Most businesses will program their motors to "soft start" for this reason. If you need a bike without soft start, don't go for the more sophisticated products, if you do...

Don't forget public areas include anywhere the public have access. Such as private fields or land with public footpaths or bridal ways. Riding one of these bikes is the same as riding an unlicensed motorbike without tax, insurance, MOT etc. Be careful. All the best, David

I agree, when used in conjunction with a good sinewave controller and decent softwear, not only is this motor practicaly silent it's Torque is phenomenal.
