Very much agree. That is why I am convinced that there is much more to come. Areas with very low rates could suddenly go shooting upwards - possibly from asymptomatic people.

Johnson said that a reasonable worst case could have seen half a million dead. Obviously, praising himself and claiming superior management. But the paper below suggests that, if we are at around 32,000, we could expect another 64 to 96,000 deaths. Just another model, of course. DOUBLE POWER...

True - but I did think that there had been discussion about how golf courses could arrange things to avoid the need to pick up flagpoles. Even if it requires new golf rules. (I don't play and have no idea what they could do.)

If this is true, then refusal to encourage - even mandate - mask wearing was wanton disregard of our health and welfare. Face-coverings As more people return to work, there will be more movement outside people's immediate household. This increased mobility means the Government is now advising...

There is nothing simple about a nuanced phrase or policy. Why has it become the word du jour. (There I go, off into French, following the PM. :) ) nuanced adjective nu·anced | \ ˈnü-ˌän(t)st , ˈnyü-; nü-ˈän(t)st, nyü- \ Definition of nuanced : having nuances : having or characterized by...

I can't be certain, but is there a single mask in use? Ah! But we don't have to wear them until Wednesday. So that's OK then.

Can tennis balls carry CoV-SARS-2? If so, there is little to no point in mandating a two metre separation of the players. But I suspect that there has been little or no research into the issue. (And what about sweat spraying across the net in a close-fought rally?) Similarly, golf balls...

Looks to me like an excuse for breaking two-metre separation. As if, you can work really close if you wear a face mask. (This is wrong, anyway.) Also, if we had been wearing them for weeks, millions would have made them and be ready to go when they return to work, or whatever. Crap attempts...

Contactless only goes up to £45. So, even with a 50% "discount" for immediate payment, there will have to be contact. They couldn't even see that £90 would have had that advantage.

CoV-SARS-2 is known to be heat sensitive. If IV bleach and UV per rectum don't kill it, try napalm.

If only you could kill CoV-SARS-2 by shooting it.

Which is pretty much what has happened throughout. The gov.uk websites are similarly fixated on England to the near-absolute exclusion of anywhere else. And still no sign-language. Which at least Wales and Scotland have provided throughout.

Maybe - but the Welsh program following is very critical. Clearly there is a gap. If Johnson comes on television and speaks as if for the whole UK but by so doing absolutely contradicts what non-England is doing, you really have to wonder what they are doing. They have been discussing the...

Johnson appears to have given carte blanche for anyone in England to travel to their second homes, to the Brecon Beacons, etc. If you can travel to exercise, without limit, what else can it mean?
