For tadpoles and other trikes like yours, it is usual to fit a battery tray like this:

Don't worry about the speed sensor, it's just a problem for us, not for you. Andy happened to have a BPM wheel with 3-pin next to him when I went to see him about your project. We did not talk about speed sensor then. Otherwise I would have offered suggestions. The major issue is whether go for...

My name is ..... And I'm new here.....

we sold the BPM kits for many years, up until before covid. I was doing Andy's job then. The product is still on our hub kit webpage. It's a powerful and heavy motor, you'll need torque arms if you don't have steel fork. You can see why I say messy compared to the XF07 front hub kits that don't...

    Help! Street Machine GT conversion

I had an ezee kit in for servicing some years back. Had a quick peek at the motor. It's well built and quite sturdy, a bit at the opposite of aikema motors. I bought a few of their aikema 85SX. It's good and lightweight but can't open them. I asked aikema to supply me with the tool. Am still...

It's not a problem, rather a limitation. I bought their kit with KT controller and LCD3. Ran it at 800W* for a while until it started to whine more and more loudly. I haven't used it since. *the LCD3 has battery power meter

Oh no, 190 miles in and TSDZ2 strange noise

This has never happened before in a nearly brand new motor. If you want to send the motor to Andy so he can have a look at it, please email support@wooshbikes.co.uk A short video clip to illustrate the issue is most welcome.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

they don't see the EU as a superstate like Brits do. For them, it's Germany, France and Italy their most important European interlocutors. The EU is more or less a side issue, no army. I can't see why Von der Leyen agreed to come with Macron. Did she... or was she...?

it's probably Andy who replied to you. We don't sell parts and your project is a one off. We used to sell BPM front hub kits but they are messy: https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?hubkits#frontbpmkit We also keep BPM motors with 3-pin cable, 6-pin cable and 9-pin cable. All in 26" rims. They are for...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

national debt at the end of March was just above £2.5 trillion. We borrowed last year £139.2 billion. About thw worst performing nation from the G9. Time to rethink brexit?

I bought the AKM128 kit from bmsbattery a few years back for testing. I played with it for a few hours and it stayed in its carton ever since. I like Aikema products but they are nowhere near bombproof like your old ezee kit. Manufacturers like Aikema and Tongsheng don't discipline their...

I don't think anyone is trying to ridicule anyone on this forum, and certainly not a new member, we want new members to feel welcome! The 2-speed automatic hubgear is not fantastic. I had one of them before. It's novelty for 5 minutes then when you hit a hill, pretty useless*. The thing is there...

I have akm128 and dwg22c 250w. The dwg22c being bigger whines less on steep gradient. I doubt aikema would have rated their 128 motor 800w. Bms battery did.

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

you are mean first to Tongsheng. What have they done to your company? I have been selling Tongsheng TSDZ2 for the last 4 years, I like their product, I like the company. Guess how I feel when I read your company's sales rep's posts?

you can't unfortunately change the motor on the Gtech. It's a closed system. If you want hub gear, you have to choose front motor or middle motor. Can you fit a kit for her?

For your other half, I would suggest the Woosh Santana: https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?santana3 The Santana has suspension fork so road bumps are not a problem. If she has back problems, she can choose a suspension seat post. The tyres are 26 x 2.0. The bike weighs 20kgs without battery, 24kgs with...

if she struggles with the gears, she should go for a rear hub drive because the hub drive simply flattens the hills. She would choose the gear that suits her pedalling/cadence best and leaves the rest to the motor. She would not have to change gear again.
