Our pussycat rarely uses her litter tray - thankfully. She is pretty good at going out even in the rain and cold weather. Comes back quickly, but that's OK.

MRIs seem to have an advantage - no radiation. (Don't think they need any contrast media which potentially has issues.) The problem would be the lack of MRI capacity.

Ironically, we have almost an excess of bog rolls! We bought some quite a while ago and they were a new version which neither of us like. Bought some of the liked ones online but when delivered they were a very different product and even less acceptable! Got a full refund but allowed to keep...

Looks like only the specific medical cases are being advised of special arrangements. Just being old (whatever that means on the calendar, and in our minds, and the assessments of others) doesn't seem in the least special.

Did you notice the advice not to indulge in DIY during this CV issue? :) If you chop your arm off, there might not be anyone to try to staunch the bleeding or try to sew it back. I suppose that gives rise to a secondary DIY activity. Sewing your own arm back on. Next door neighbour was...

So what is the collected opinion on ice cream vans doing their rounds? We don't get many, or maybe it is one van but not frequently, but I just heard a chime so there must be one round the corner.

Might well be true. But I suspect that nowadays relatively few would immediately know freezing point in F. And entirely separate: Welsh government closes campsites and caravan parks, and restricts access to beauty spots Caravan parks and campsites in Wales are being closed to visitors from...

We did go - and the sea was incredibly calm. Our impression is that there are still rather more non-Welsh plated vehicles than usual - but that is based on our unscientific sampling in the past and today. Came back and surprised to see McDonalds drive through still open. Checked at it is from...

It could, of course, be an English comprehension failure. :) If the person doesn't get the difference between length and width. I often find the meanings of height, width, depth, etc., mis-stated/mis-interpreted. And the way they perpetuate Fahrenheit. Somehow, it is not hot at 27C but is at...

Is it reasonable, or not, to hop into the car and drive a few miles to a quiet car park overlooking the sea? Park well away from any other vehicles. Only even considering getting out if no-one else is around. Or is anyone doing that making it look as if we can go anywhere, do anything?

A few comments: But just how are the athletes supposed to train? And coaches travel to athletes, or vice versa. Many of the organisational staff such as judges are older (having become distinguished within their sports). Infectivity of coronavirus is, surely, relative not absolute? Might be...

Wholly agreed. That they tried to put off the decision for four weeks was itself an awful decision. Surely better to cancel/defer now than continue? Makes me wonder whether they were trying to force the situation where the actions of others force the issue. Contractual liability issues?

Not only were you right in posting that, they are even saying, without the slightest pretence otherwise: Olympics president Yoshiro Mori says the biggest concern is the cost of cancelling the games. Canada already out, NZ likely to follow. Earlier today, Canada said it would not send...
