But since I can legally ride my ebike in my country ,and you cannot, I am puzzled why you would even bring it up. More importantly, there will always be groups providing policy inputs, it is called lobbying . Some are good ideas some are not. Then we have parliamentarians who discuss these...

Correct. But had the state, which is organising the stock piling, they would or could have increased their orders by 3% two years ago, an increase which would have factored into normal production planning, and would not cause bottlenecks.

Project fear is a lie.,the name, the unreasoning frission it is supposed to engender are all lies. Lies are ultimately boring ,so yes I agree Project fear is boring. However shortages of many goods is not an unreasonable doubt, and stockpiling by definition creates short term shortages, and...

"Maybe leave did lie more than remain. The fact is both sides are guilty and that is unacceptable."This sounds remarkably like "there are good people on both sides (at Charlottesville") . It is not that those intereested in remaining were necessarily any more moral or better than those wishing...

As I have said on a number of occasions, Mr Adams, may be one of our TDs, but the value of PR is that he does not represent me. .

Ireland will be trading with the UK as PART of the EU. I can see a wasteland in a number of shopping streets. When M&S, Boots,Tesco, Monsoon ,CURRYs cannot get their stuff shipped from the UK. This will hurt those property cimoanues who invested in shopping centres ..and guess where their...

Zathlan, I am not prepared to believe that you are that stupid . Virtually all currency fluctuations in sterling since Brexit was mooted are Brexit related. Even the slight upturn yesterday was on the belief that a different deal might be done. Please don't take my word for it, look at the time...

But Mays Deal actually respected the Referendum. That is the problem. The path you are now on neither respects the Referendum, the 16 million and the significant fraction of the 17 million who wanted a soft Brexit, and access to much of the single market. Yes it is a mess and a shambles

It is going to get stuck at Carrickarnon, until the meat pies inside rot. Marks &Sparks in Henry St or Churchtown will be without these pies, the West Brits in the Coastal belt near Ballsbridg and Churchtown ,will be livid, and meanwhile Aldi and Lidl, and Dunnes will be doing ok. . The rest of us...

"Except she can't and won't." Probably the latter. There is usually a provision that a consitutional head of state can require the Ministers of State to return their seals of office, when the Government can no longer govern. In Totalitarian states, the Head of State ,just sends the Army to...

There is no news there. For what it is worth, Simon is very sound and Shane Ross is a waste of space.. certainly a waste of ministerial space. He is a consequence of having a minority government and actually not in any party.

There is an unwritten assumption that there is an army of 16.5 million people who are so incensed that they will rampage all around them. You must know that a fraction no-one knows how many who ticked a box mindlessly and otherwise would just wish the whole damn thing would disappear, . Equally...
