It wasn't about BJ lying. It was being in possession of and taking cocaine and conspiracy (or worse - some have suggested aid, abet, solicit and/or procure) to beat up a journalist.

Corbyn asked Johnson: If there was a case of a young white boy with blond hair who later dabbled in class A drugs and conspired with a friend to beat up a journalist, would he deport that boy, or is it one rule for young black boys from the Caribbean and another for white boys from the United...

68 mph, then? https://www.statista.com/statistics/303425/average-speed-on-motorways-in-the-uk/ They need the speed to allow for the tortuous journey from an HS2 station to anywhere useful.

Except Up was always towards London (where that could make sense). (Reminds me of the people who would refer to their having missed the last train from London and so caught the milk train down in the morning. Usually looking pretty hungover and dishevelled. Pointing out that milk trains go UP...

As if on cue: HS2 could run slower north of Birmingham in order to cut costs, Grant Shapps has said as he criticised the project’s “obsession” with cutting journey times. Makes so much sense building a fast railway and putting fast rolling stock on it, just for it to be slowed down for the...

I have said this before. I agree. The change from widespread 90 mph trains (even if they could often manage a few more mph) to 125 with the intercity 125/HS125 trains was a major change. Upping that to 150 is probably still acceptable. But going for the speeds projected for HS2 is barmy. And, I...

Planes, Trains and Automobiles looks like an "everything went right" movie compared to his involvement in transport - ranging from car doors, seafreight, new timetable cockups, cancelling electrification in the north of England, to Gatwick drones. And there is not going to be a sentimental...

We have had a spate of calls - no idea who from as we never answer. (The ONLY people who know our number are BT and PlusNet. We never give it out.) It is only there for emergencies. Several calls come from fake caller IDs - like 02107...... So not even potentially valid according to Ofcom.

Change it into a coffin shifter. No bigger than a pipeline and people lie down. :) Announce what is claimed to be a major enhancement to moving people between major population centres at the same time as planning to restrict movement as a disease control measure. At last, some explanation: The UK’s decision to declare the coronavirus outbreak as a “serious and imminent threat” to public health gives the government fresh legal powers to forcibly quarantine people and send them into isolation if they pose a threat. The PA Media news agency reports that...
