    Obviously it is not the only indicator, and there are many factors, but the pound has reached its lowest value this year against the US dollar. 1.2984 You have to go back to the little dip around 23/12/2019, or further to 03/12/2020 to get this low.

    Have you seen any recent statistics on the views of those in Wales, Northern Ireland and England on Scottish independence? I used to have a fairly jaundiced view of the SNP and Scottish independence but as each year (or should that be minute?) goes by, I understand their attitude and opinion...

    Unless and until someone does some proper trials, I don't think I could decide between the two hideously awful possibilities. Cardboard is likely to be warmer and less prone to condensation. Bins are likely to be more waterproof but, if water does start running in, it will very quickly...

    I hope he proves how good it is by moving into one (or should that be two?) for an extended period. Preferably somewhere that uses the same colour bins for rubbish and that are regularly picked up by the local refuse collection service. In very cold and wet and windy weather.

    And my thought was that, so long as charging time is less than about one fourth of the typical overnight stay, four vehicles could fully charge, in sequence. Which is why a hotel seemed an obvious possible application, and, for that matter, workplaces where people might be there all day.

    With a bit of thought, you could actually ensure that four cars are close enough to be able to use one charger. Which would be a pretty sensible approach at places like hotels.

    You are taking the p... :) Ironically, one of the significant cost elements for rail electrification is the raising of bridges to allow clearance. Think they would only manage an extremely thin bladder... Maybe Durex make something thin enough to fit under the bridges?

    It is also nonsensical that the government nonetheless continue to refuse to electrify the line from Cardiff to Swansea. They will be having extra-expensive special bi-mode trains... And little has been heard of HGVs converting away from diesel. Am aware of the use of other fuels such as gases...

    I was rather hoping he might go and never return. But I guess with your billing, they'll know not to let him stay in any of those countries.

    Could it be: Bus Driver Syndrome. When an individual in a menial position takes a small amount of power or authority to the extreme. There again, that might imply BJ would know something about buses - such as A/C that works.
