Bafang make various versions of the same motor: 36V/48V, 12A/15A/17A and various speeds. The version with lower speed, higher voltage and higher current will have higher maximum torque. You need to ask your supplier for the exact version you are buying.

it's currently about half that because the PCR tests are now about half (670,000) what they were at the beginning of July (1.05 million 7 days average). If you don't look, you don't see. I am bothered about the test racket currently costing a lot of money to families. Grant Shapps tried to...

Selector switch for peadal assist level

Not easy. You can't just splice the cable because the signalling is digital. There are two solutions: bluetooth adapter or another LCD with remote buttons like the KT LCD8S. For Lishui controllers, the old KM J-LCD has remote buttons.

    Woosh C70 Brompton conversion

I have no trouble maintaining 15mph on my Brompton. You only need about 200W to maintain 15mph on an average bike, on flatish roads. If the rider puts in an average 70W, the motor can supply the balance 130W. Any kit can do that.

that's already the case. Veterinary alignment is the first step. Also, I can't see the UK joining the EU as long as the conservative party is in power.

no, it's just a blip due to sunny weather a couple of weeks ago. This coming week, I predict case numbers will follow the recent wet weather, up again toward 40,000 a day. The ONS estimate is like stock price 20-day moving average whereas the daily recorded numbers are more dependent on the...

covid antibodies: ONS figures for England: 88.2%-92.3% I reckon it'll be bad for the person. Too low virus count, the Covid virus can sit dormant without triggering immune response for a long time until given a chance. We need regular boosters until covid virus is busted.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I am not against the idea of 'freedom day', ie the Swedish way. in order to live with covid, we need to: 1. stop the virus until we have vaccines. 2. after that, we need a very large percentage of our population to have antibodies to reduce the damage. So there needs to be a strategy transition...
