when the Big Bear was introduced, I think 2014, the year after Redbridge show, the forum reported regularly a fair number of incidents involving broken spokes. Brexit, for once some facts.

if you want France to keep those who want to flee, we should consider doing same. Let's close all the refugee detention places - at Heathrow for example.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Replace the gear cassette on an e-Bike?

I bought a few DNP 11T-34T 8-speed freewheels recently and paid about £3 per unit in EU's anti dumping duty. Previously, I sold them for £12 each, now £18. That's why you don't see much DNP with 11T on the net.

the same effect of rotational inertia affects the rear hub kits in turning too, albeit to a lesser extent because the centre of the rear motor wheel is a bit nearer to the centre of gravity compared to a front motor wheel. If you want the nearest feel to a push bike then the TSDZ2 is a pretty...

front motor is easier to fit and remove. Furthermore, most forks have standard 100mm dropout so you know for certain that the motor will fit. for all motors, at the axle. For front and rear hub motors, that's the same as 'at the wheels'. For crank drive, that the same as 'at the chainring'. For crank drive, you have to multiply the torque figure at the chain ring by the sprocket to ring ratio. For example, 100NM at a 44T chainring...

Help! Looking for a daily commute bike around £1000 - £1200

e-bikes are already heavy like they are, the Camino weighs 23kgs on its own. If I had to put a hub gear and a full chainguard, it'll add about 1kg-1.5kgs extra weight. As the motor supplements your pedal effort, you don't need to pedal any harder when you are going up a steep gradient, you don't...

the trouble with home made Y connector is the second battery's connector remains live if you don't have the battery in its cradle. That's why we couldn't supply the Faro with internal and external battery. The KM849 fixes that problem.

you'll need this double battery converter. It's an automatic switch. Battery A and battery B are alternately connected to the controller. You adjust the voltage points with two small buttons where the switch over happens. It works with both 36v battery and 48V battery. I'll get them in September.
