Hi Jerry Well spotted. I wanted to give the Alpino's a serious road test and could't think of a better way of doing it. The original 906xc Tourer is still going strong in New Zealand after 10,000km it was barely run in. I must say it was a bit of an effort to prise it out of Guim's hands...

Sorry for the delay in responding, I am not sure how I missed it. Guim, our intrepid word tourer has covered many 1000's of km on the same bike and is not having any problems, so if you are experiencing difficulties I imagine something is out of true. Have you spoken to your supplier yet...

Hi The reason we have to offset a little is to get the chain past the battery housing. To date we have not experienced any problems. Best regards David

Hi Thanks for your input. You are correct in saying that bikes are set up for the average user in average terrain. If you need to change the gear ratios we do have other Chain sets available from 44 to 52 tooth. Best regards David

I agree, it very much depends on individual choice, however when we send bikes out to new customers we need to have the brakes working effectively, especially in the first few hours when customers are getting used to the extra power. All the best David
