Yes, it leaves me fighting my concience. I often think whether I should report him. He doesn't have any kids. He has a partner who works for a care company, and she gets worse conditions than the amazon workers. Also, he's had a bad time recenly. As well as losing his job, he lost his father...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

This is basically what I'm saying. The BBC are supposed to be unbiased. If, as you say, she showed support for remain, she broke the rules in their charter, and the same for any of the other presenters that expressed or demonstrated a pro-remain bias. It looks like they're all getting dealt...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There have always been poor quality jobs. I myself have have done jobs with much worse conditions, less security and lower pay. Thankfully, I didn't have to do those jobs for too long (about 2 years total). Would you rather be a coal miner or an Amazon deliverer? I can remember in the '70s...

There seems to be a big shake-up going on at the BBC. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with the bias they showed during Brexit and the election. Their news department seems to be more affected than the rest, but most important was the Director General "stepping...

There has been a massive increase in Equality and Diversity Managers in recent years. This is obviously a growing sector. We might be able to sell their services in China, Africa and India. I'm sure that would create at least as many jobs as the few hundred lost jobs that OG mentions. George...

Jeez, you really do see to have a bad case of BDS. By all means, criticise him when he does something wrong, but getting all worked up over a few words seems a bit irrational. When you get these feelings of rage (triggered), before doing anything irrational, try a nice cup of tea to see if it...

I think you must have Boris derangement syndrome. Which voters would they be? Surely, the next election won't be for another 4 years, and everybody will have forgotten about this tax cut by then. Could it be that the coffers are a bit flush at the moment, or he expects them to be soon, so he has...

I think your cat and worries about perchlorate and other things will be OK if they just use massive rockets fired across the channel to France. I wonder if they could make them big enough to reach Brussels without starting a war.

According to the ONS statistics, unemployment has reduced more or less continuously since the Brexit vote, and is now at its lowest level since the '70s. That seems to be some way away from what Mark Carney predicted...

I also have an 18 1/2" neck and I'm only 85 kg. I just had an operation to thin it down a bit:

When was the last time you saw a Wimpey Bar? They still have one in the parade of shops adjacent to the bus station in Basildon town centre. It's been there 70 years. Every other shop in the parade has changed during that time.

because they're making the right type of cars in those factories. A guy from LRJ Marketing dept told me that Greta Thunberg is doing immense damage to LRJ sales. I guess losing only 500 jobs is a small price to pay for communism.

Cats make you live longer: https://blog.ferplast.com/en/why-does-owning-a-cat-make-you-live-longer/ Here's the cat that helped me live as long as I have and sadly missed, may he rest in peace:

It's nothing to do with Brexit. They need to cut costs because they're losing money. They're making losses because they're making the wrong type of cars at the moment: "The car maker said last year it planned to cut 4,500 jobs globally as part of a £2.5bn plan to reverse losses. "

Fair point. I had always thought that the politically correct would support the mouse because he was the oppressed one; however, one could argue that the cat was always the loser so he was actually the underdog. When I was Uni, we had lunchtime Freds (Fred Quimby) in the Union on a Thursday...

It seems that Joe Biden is after video games again, saying that they teach people to kill. It's a shame that the same sort of thinking put an end to the "too violent for kids" Tom and Jerry, which is one of my favourite video experiences. When we were kids, a significant part of TV was Cowboys...

At Davos, Trump said that he wanted to do a "tremendous" trade deal with UK, and talks would start in the next few weeks. That's a bit of a change from Obama's "back of the queue". It's just as well Trump got elected, otherwise it could have been bad for us. It's funny how things always work out...
