    Brexit, for once some facts.

The EU would always have been happier with a more socially inclusive national parliament.. more akin to the majority of other European countries ... I don't want to comment on specific UK parliamentary personnel, but my feeling would have been that the previous adminstration was sufficiently...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

.. I think that that is a very good question and as an outsider and therefore further from the action my take is.. 1. The Cameron government introduced the referendum in order to flush out ukip sensitivity, but this blew up in their faces. 2. Events create their own momentum, and the new faces...

    Anybody had this battery problem?

... There are plenty of previous postings here about range . What there is not is an industry standard for comparison. Simply put the range is a combination of weight of bike and rider and tyre composition and tyre air pressure creating rolling resistance, speed of bike and stance of rider...

... Can I disagree with your last comment and suggest that most wars are fought for power control and money, and the masses are duped into supporting them by appealling to a religious motive.

Ongoing reliability of Kalkhoff/Focus Impulse 2 motors

... Ok, I note from your strava link that you are USA based. That means that your bike has been configured so as to legally provide electric power up to 20 miles per hour. In Europe such bikes are configured for 15.5mph. .. that was the discrepancy that I had noted and my only assumption was...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

... I disliked this post for a few reasons the first being that I thought that you are dazzled by the brilliance of your analogy and blinded to realities. The EU is an existing entity, there is no leap of faith required. .. a fundamental requirement for any religion. Should one seek a religious...

I'm looking for a decent budget commuter ebike in France ..any recommendations please?

. You did him a great favour in stopping him purchasing an overpriced relic. I have been in a number of supermarkets and car shops here in France over the last fortnight. Any of the major supermarket chains Carrefour, intermarch Eleclerc have a number of ebikes , with Li ion 36 V batteries, at...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

.. that could happen.. I suspect that it will not. The UK could develop a new technology which the world wants and is willing to pay for .. like arm processors , they could become global giants in financial management, but by cutting themselves away from the worlds largest market, and making...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

As as been said a number of times Brexit has not yet happened. So I am not going to speculate, what if it is 10% or 20% not 2% of a reduction. ? As I write this I am listening to a speech by Mr Barnier, to our irish parliament, and he is well informed about our local requirements. He has more...

... In respect of lorry drivers local or international will there be such a demand in the UK for them post Brexit?. If wealth decreases, there will be less economic activity, less imports less, long distance transport. And whatever long distance lorries there are will be stuck in multi mile...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

... Woosh, please try and remain factual. You could go from France to Germany because both were in the EEC, you could go from France to UK, as a visitor using a passport. You had no rights when in the UK. The only sovereign country where it's citizen's had some rights to the UK was Ireland, and...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

.. I believe that the point they are making is that without the brake of the EU and potential ECJ sanction the process of reducing workers standards will accelerate. Bad and all as things are now they can get worse. The majority if not all other European countries have written consitutions...
