Rohloff uses experience with using one "Thinking about buying one

Complicated but seductive is my take on belt drive. I prefer having a normal frame and a chain tensioner with the chain tucked away (for the most part) in a Hebie chainglider. http://www.kindernay.com/ At the bottom: developed in Norway, made in Europe (look east young man...) If you...

Don't you like the real time voltage reading (P5=0)? I find it very practical especially for battery sag.

She will be wearing out rims then... ;) Seriously though about 3 min in: Does the bike have the brake boosters? They help a lot.

Gepida Reptila 1000 (2016 model) - First impressions

Don't worry too much about that, as they are hydraulic the pads balance out when you apply the brake lever. Sometimes I have one that sticks because of crud but it doesn't affect stopping power. It is best having uneven gap rather than one rubbing on the rim. They are a bit of a faf to set up...

No P1 are the magnets inside the motor. The magnets in the PAS is defined by the C1 setting, I think that might be your issue. In your case it should probably be set to 02 for the lowest sensitivity. When I switched from an 8 magnet disk to a 12 magnet one the difference in smoothness was night...

What do you do to prevent theft of your e-bikes/battery?

I have begun thinking about the trike, of course it will get the two lock treatment but: - it won't fit in the bike garage at the station unfolded :( - it has a nice comfy seat people will want to try (especially small kids holding ice creams...) So my idea is to lock it up near the police...

Rohloff uses experience with using one "Thinking about buying one

Your what? 17t/11-42t I get the cassette bit but you have to give us non Bosch riders an equivalent for a normal size chainwheel... OK I went and looked it up  that is a 42 tooth chainwheel equivalent so look at the row 42 x 16 and you will see that the Rohloff will give you a much lower...

Couldn't you mount the torque arm directly without the second arm? From here it looks like you might be a bit close to the hole in it already to drill a second hole?

Bike recommendations & info for Deliveroo work please

If I went into the delivery business I would do it seriously and buy a cargo bike (trike), assisted of course: - I would be able to deliver larger and/or more items than competitors - I would be able to deliver fragile goods that are harder to carry safely on a bicycle - a lockable box (and...

    SRAM EX1 first impressions review

I am using the stock Alivio 8 speed derailleur and an 8 speed 11-40. It took an awful long time to set up (lack of experience) but now it work just fine. A single chainwheel will be much easier to set up than a triple.

Threat to bam cycling on A63.

Illegal to ride in France on any road with legal max over 90 km/h. Cycles, tractors and horses share the same fate. It makes going some places long and overly complicated on a bike. In Spain you can ride on some roads which are double carriageway and limited to 100 km/h but never through...

    New C5

Most people have indicators mounted on their vélomobile because they don't want to die in a crash... ;) Indicators are not obligatory on mopeds here so it swings both ways: most mopeds have them (very few are used or in working state). A rear brake light is also a good idea. Factoid from my...
