Best value folding e-bike for 4 mile round trip with long, medium gradient

For the last 16 months, I ride the Woosh Faro with rigid fork, it's my favourite Woosh. Before that, I rode the woosh Karoo, again with rigid fork. I love rigid forks! but I wouldn't take the Karoo or the Faro to the woods. I take the Zephyr. If I can only have one bike, I'd have it with...

Are ebike batteries always live and active due to bms?

yes, they are constantly monitored by the BMS, even when they are in deep sleep, the frequency of diagnostics is reduced but still there. Yes, they are safe. Hi, I don't think it's going to work. Here is the drawing of the TSDZ2: Basically, you need to draw a horizonal line, more or less flush with the bottom bracket shell. You need clear space for the motor below the horizontal line. This is your Bullitt: I think you will have to look at...

Best value folding e-bike for 4 mile round trip with long, medium gradient

No. As it's a new model, I've tried to keep the equipment as simple as possible so that anyone can feel re-assured that they are not sitting for a bike technician's test when it comes to looking after their folding bike. At the next revision, I will probably change the front brake to disk.

the B'Twin Tilt 500 would do the job. For your budget, you can add the Woosh Rambletta (£849) to the mix. The B'Twin has 24V motor, 24V x 7.8AH battery (about 200WH), the Rambletta 36V motor, 36V * 12AH (432WH) battery. https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?rambletta

Belt or chain, derailleur or hub?

The OP's budget is £2k-£2.5k and his question is 'is suspension fork functional?' My answer is a clear yes. Although I ride a bike with a rigid fork, I'd take another bike (full sus) if I were heading to Belfairs woods. The only down side is the additional weight.

which Suntour Aion have you got? My guess it's SF18AION-DS-LO-R-15QLC32 The Aion has one leg with coil spring and the other with air spring. It gives you a combination of the benefits of coil sprung forks (quicker to respond) and air sprung forks (progressive response). Suntour Aion retails...

people take their e-bikes to forestry trails, canal paths, disused rail tracks - their surface is invariably rutted. their use is much more than the 0.1% you think. Why limit your rides to smooth surfaces?
