25 mile round trip commute advice please?

I'll post some pictures of the adjustable stem on the Rio tomorrow. The pivot is locked with an M6 bolt on the underside of the stem. It's not going to break even if you put a ton of weight on it, the handlebars would go well before that. The pivot itself is an M5 bolt.

although I have never come across an adjustable stem failing, I can fit a fixed stem if the customer prefers it. The cost of a fixed stem is a little less for us.

    Introducing the Woosh Faro

If you want both batteries at the same time, I can build it but I need a Y battery connector from King Meter. Without this piece, I have to use not as good antispark XT90 connector. The cost is about £1,275 with both batteries.

    Hub kits - Proper jobs?

I converted a full suspension bike today with a BBS01B kit. The bike was a Btwin Rockrider 540. It took a lot longer than expected but at least, it's possible to fit an HL downtube battery. If anyone is interested in converting same bike, let me know.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

if you want support from momentum, you have to: 1. blame the last GE result on ambiguous brexit position 2. give Corbyn 10 out of 10 for his performance 3. promise to keep JC's manifesto

    Brexit, for once some facts.

    1. cheap land given to them by the local authorities 2. easy foreign currency account - to stash money in HK 3. low pollution control 4. cheap and spacious buildings. Plenty of my suppliers claim to have 50,000+ sqm space in their factory. How many UK companies have such luxuries? 5. easy access...

25 mile round trip commute advice please?

the OP needs a decent bike and battery - 25 miles a day is pretty high for a cheap bike, he will forever recharge his battery. The first thing cheap bikes save money on is the battery. There is another thread currently discussing first bike options. I'd rather like the £1,500 Scott Sub Sport...

    Wisper 905 rear wheel/rim.

There are additional difficulties with relacing a rear motorwheel with rim brakes: 1. The new rim needs to have the same circumference and width 2. the rim needs to be machined for rim brakes 3. you need to dish the wheel correctly. The length of the spokes on the drive side is a little shorter...

May be worth considering a new motor wheel, cost: £150-£220 depending on the motor.

    SPD and torque sensing drive

the throttle has priority over the pedal sensors. As soon as you open the throttle, even just a little bit, you'll feel the step change. You soon work out how much to push depending on the gradient and speed. I must admit, I don't like keeping a thumb on the throttle much, use it rarely on hill...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

over time, the centre of gravity of financial businesses will move to the EU27. Brexit will simply hasten the move, especially if we distance ourselves from the EU and attach to the USA.

they say the same about their last manifesto. Care home fees, more doctors and nurses, less immigration, less taxes etc. BJ is right to dodge the camera and leave it to his idiots.
