    Brexit, for once some facts.

didn't BJ give to remainers a near cast iron guarantee that they'll get a deal by October 31st, 1 million to one or something? or is it the other way round, one to a million now?

Would you pay £30 to save 1kg?

the two lightweight motors above benefit from a large reduction ratio 12.5 to 1. that helps save some weight by spinning the rotor more than twice as fast. It's the same thing when you compare the Tongsheng TSDZ2 against the Bafang BBS01/02.

Oxygen e-bike is the best bike on GBP 1,500.00 range?

I would say that the main reason why bikes like the Cube Acid are reliable because they don't have exposed electrical components like a throttle or a pedal sensor. Water is the main enemy of the electrics. A smaller risk is cable snagging. For example, the magnet disc on Chinese bikes like the...

    Bottom bracket sizing help

I suggest you leave the bottom bracket where it is and work around it. Epoxy some Neodymium magnets to the chainring bolts and mount the cadence sensor to the seat post.

Would you pay £30 to save 1kg?

there are a few sellers of Aikema motors on aliexpress. There are new, interesting models coming to the market now and then, but most of our customers are, shall we say, traditionally built. The market for lightweight bikes like my Karoo and the new lighter Karoo is small for us, compared to the...

Would you pay £30 to save 1kg?

The Aikema G85R costs about the same as the XF08C, for the same voltage. Only Bafang charge 20%-25% extra because they can.

Would you pay £30 to save 1kg?

I did wonder how long before someone would ask that question. from Aikema, 1.7kgs. https://www.aikema.com.cn/en/product/G85R.html

Would you pay £30 to save 1kg?

Simple question really, would you pay £30 more for the Bafang G370 against the XF07? Both do the same job, but the Bafang weighs 1.7kgs while the XF07 weighs 2.8kgs, the weight saving is 1.1kg. Both can be overvolted a bit, maximum torque is 40NM-42NM if you push them. I trust the XF07 for many...

or their dying wish? They should have voted for Hunt, he may be slow at the starting line but would get there more quickly. On the other hand, BJ may die on the 1st of November, they can always try another who promises do or die.

Liam Fox wants to train school leavers to be UK trade negotiators. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-48943551 If it takes that long to get them ready (about 5-7 years of university + 4 years in training in the civil service), brexit will have been cancelled before they are ready.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

JH has a coherent strategy, I reckon he can just about getting brexit through parliament, that means no fresh GE, MPs get to keep their job until 2022. JH's strategy is to try to get the EU to make some minor changes before end of September to avoid immediate no deal preparation. He will then...

    Deans T-Plug Fans

I use mainly HL downtube batteries. The controller is integrated to the battery base. There is no battery cable. For those who run Bafang BBSes or Tongsheng TDSZ2, the connectors are usually Andersons if they need quick release for some special reason, XT or simple 3.9mm Japanese bullet crimps...

    Ebike controller

both controllers have the same rating, can be the same, just are paired up with different motors. Most people pair 48V 25A with a 1000W motor, 48V 35A with 1500W motor. you can waste more battery running a 48V 35A with a 1000W motor which will hit magnetic saturation at about 23A-25A.
