    Brexit, for once some facts.

Would that include for food poisoning in parts of Spain? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jun/24/hotels-compensation-spain-cyprus-bogus-food-poisoning-claims While we are on that side note why dont the Dutch and the Germans get food poisoning at the same hotel buffet? Maybe they aren't...

Getting the stated mileage out of a battery

In Perth that would be 50 km mate! So yeah, go for it :D Question (which holds the answer): Do you trust advertising?

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

I have finally made up my mind... I really want to have the battery and the controller all neat and tidy in the triangle. I often do about 30 km there and back rides and mucking around in town. I HATE sag... So I am going for a 3P10S 9.4ish Ah battery which should cover the distance. And the...

    Hallo from Warwickshire

Hase do a delta for 7500€ I don't know what they are smoking but I want some... Your best bet is to get an adaptive tadpole trike and fit a kit to it (or have someone fit one).

Riese & Muller Tinker - quality of front suspension?

I think that at 160 bucks this is the high end... It has 20" big bens too you should be just fine. I started having very illegal thoughts when I saw the s-pedelec version...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You mean they have computers? I thought everything was done on velum! Someone must have turned one on by accident "No! don't touch that button!" Too late... Win95 boot screen then cryptic on screen message "U R fscked" I think that means file system check or something...

Specially adapted cars for wheelchair users

"In the UK" you forgot to add Tom. It is illegal to park the wrong way (against the flow of traffic) here especially if there is a solid white line you have to cross to get to the parking spot but it is considered that backing into a parking spot is not going the wrong way. I loved mine for all...

New Bosch motors + better battery integration

My power cord goes under the mat so no one can trip on it. I stopped charging downstairs when it became apparent we have termites and I thought that a battery fire near tinder dry termite ridden wood might not be a good idea! Work is in progress to fix that problem. My LiPos are charged in the...

    Help, please with my Oxygen...

The market for the s-pedelec in the EU is split into two categories: - In the flatter lands they are used for long range or inter city commuting where speed would be the prime reason for buying and they would be used WOT a lot of the time. - in Austria, Switzerland and parts of Germany more...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Because up until now the "lady" has done a U-turn on everything she has said, I wouldn't be reassured if I were a EU citizen living in the UK. Without even going into the nasty little details like having all rights of being an EU citizen removed and replaced with their UK "equivalent"...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

"Theresa May makes 'fair and serious' offer on rights of EU citizens in UK" Right! Sounds like they are in real trouble now doesn't it...

    Is the SWX02 quiet?

It will be quiet if you use a sine wave controller. My mate has a front bafang motor with a square wave controller and it is very noisy. Marc over on electric trike has an oil cooled SWX02 with steel planetary gears because 60+ volts (...!) and he says it sounds like a coffee grinder at full...

    Cube Reaction Hybrid HPA SL500

Dual carriageways are verboten on this side of the water... Assuming we are talking two lanes each way? They aren't in Spain if they are limited to 80 km/h and they always have a hard shoulder for cycling there anyway.

    Are battery covers worth it?

With the weather the way it is I thought exactly the same thing! A battery cover will keep heat out if you are parked in direct sunlight.

    IGH gears vs. derailleur

I agree with flecc it isn't the number of gears but the range and a pedelec can get away with wider range between individual gears. Pinion has wide range e-bike specific boxes. Now that e-bike numbers have hit critical mass we should see specific cassettes too. My current pet idea is a nexus 8...
