    Rohloff/gearbox question/s!

Road tyres, mudguards, a Magura hydraulic on the front and a GSM in the BB and you have a winner! :)

    Brexit, for once some facts.

A huge navy is a really great idea when you have an empire. When you no longer have an empire what use is it? Second question: what did the ECJ do to The Wicked Witch to get her knickers in such a knot?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

A executive summary: "Mr Dombret said it was difficult to see how euro-clearing could remain in London, as it depended on the "acceptance of the European Court of Justice" as the arbiter of the thousands of legal contracts signed between counter-parties, many of which last for years. Britain...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

France has enough private savings to cover its national debt. Elect the National Front to power and watch that money flow from the country like a river! In Greece, before the austerity measures imposed, most hotels and restaurants evaded VAT, now 100% of them do...

    Speed Bumps

I took the cycle path to Hendaye yesterday and discovered that my fitness has come back and I am riding much faster so the natural speed bumps on that path unhooked the pannier and changed down the gears from 42 to 32 on the front :( I would like to get the guy who made that path on a bike (road...

5750-6000 Ah quoted in the video (the guy has a very thick accent). The lowest capacity would mean a 17.25 Ah 36 V battery in 3P10S. I want one of those! 30 slightly larger and heavier cells for a decent capacity (621 Wh) is ideal for e-bike use.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The most efficient way of fixing a problem is tackling the cause, not the symptoms. Devaluation would only lead to an increase in the root causes of those countries problems.

Corruption, tax evasion, dark economy and giving huge tax breaks to multinational companies. Fighting those would mean no need to devalue in any of those countries... Those problems are nothing to do with the EU.

Stopped air travel when my father died. I do have about 4 times around the world in flying miles however, a quarter of those miles being on internal flights in NZ. I don't have many regrets but one of those is that I don't have my light aircraft licence. I won a flight in a essay contest when I...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Front National economy adviser was on TV yesterday. Not very convincing, not very articulate and holds some strange and dangerous views about the French economy. They don't have a plan other than change the name of the Euro to the Euro Franc and devalue it by 30%.

There are 6S batteries in those voltages but they have sold out. I'm looking at the 5.2 4S which I would like to use in 2P3S for a 10.4 Ah 44.4 V battery that would fit in the frame and cost 169€ to be compared with a new 10.4 Ah 36 V Li-ion at 269€ that doesn't fit in the frame :confused...

How many charge cycles? I have gone off Multistar because my 4S 10000 mAh was bad from the beginning. First cell 3 was weaker and now cell 1 is stronger than the others... The Graphene packs on the other hand has been rock solid, charges faster and are balanced to within 0.01V so far.

    Greenway Cross City

I went for a ride too, chilly 9-12°C but dry and sunny. I don't look at the bars any more, I look at the voltage reading. I left home with 38.4 V and after about 28 km came home at 37.4. I experienced the usual 0.6 V sag so at times the voltage reading was 36.7 V. There is about another 20 km of...

I'd forgotten, you are right, they didn't sell that bit off did they. Brexit, for once some facts.

From reading here one would think the UK is the only country in the EU that pays into the EU and doesn't get anything back. No money at all comes back the other way? In fact Sweden, Denmark and Germany are larger net contributors per capita than the UK expressed as a percentage. I was looking...
