    New Gtech ebike

it's usually the left crank bolt that needs well tightening. Your bottom bracket should still be OK.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

to get a no deal, they have to replace TM. She has tried to work with the ERG and DUP. That did not work out. She now turns to JC. If that does not work out, she'll turn to parliament. She will threaten MPs with revoking A50 if parliament refuses to back her MV4. Guess what, a majority of MPs...

to me, this picture is the current 'heat map' of what is brexit. (swap For and Against around)

TM will have another go next week with MV4, with or without JC's support.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

TM and JC are united against the confirmatory vote (aka remain), they may want to force a vote between TM's deal and cancel A50 next week.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yvette Cooper's bill squeaked through by 313/312 - incredibly well fought. I watched her perform in the HoC a few times. A real talent. She should have been Leader of the Opposition.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

she can do a deal with JC but my guess, she won't. He will help her run down the clock then she'll adopt one of the solutions that parliament will agree through the indicative votes. I guess when the clock runs out, she can always go Kyle Wilson way, 400 MPs will vote for her and confirmatory...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

it's the backstop. TM wanted it as insurance against the ERG. It protects NI against her future replacement, at least in the short term until new GE.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

her backup strategy is to accept what parliament may come up with. That would suit both TM and JC as both can claim a degree of victory. Parliament would go for either customs union or TM deal + confirmatory vote. The best way out is a 3 question confirmatory vote. 3 choices: WTO, TM deal...

    FRONT HUB KIT.

I don't see anything wrong with a small front hub motor for a touring bike. The OP uses his previous bike mostly in eco mode, it sounds perfectly appropriate for a lightweight front hub conversion like the XF07. The advantages are: - easy to fit. No dishing. No worries about spreading the rear...

    Panasonic compact rear hub motor.

If I remember correctly, the Panasonic hub motor has a two stage planetary gear without a clutch. It should last a very long time because no clutch = less to fail.

    Whoosh Rio throttle

that's true. You can set the throttle function (permanent or activated on PAS) with KT controllers but you will have to change the LCD that comes with the bike for the KT LCD3 or another LCD from KT. One alternative is to convert a mountain bike like a £400 Voodoo NZumbi or a Cube Aim with the...

Could you give me your opinion on this kit?

Hi Mike, no, it does seem there is an obvious gap in the market for it but I think they supply small volume OEMs at the moment. They have just let me know that they can't supply the 48V version yet. I paid them two months ago!

    Whoosh Rio throttle

The law only affects factory built bikes. Essentially, if the bike has an independently acting throttle, it must not be plugged in. It's up to the customer to plug it in. If the throttle is activated after pedaling, then we can plug it in before shipping. The law on throttle does not apply to...

Omnium Mini Cargo bike - what kit?

the 48V SWX02 has about 20% more torque but the XF08C can pull easily you + 50kgs load. The SWX02 has screw on freewheel fitting, XF08C cassette fitting. Cassette is always better than freewheel. They run true and not wobble like screw-on freewheels, cheaper and easier to replace too.

Omnium Mini Cargo bike - what kit?

you have a 10-speed cassette on that bike. If you go for the SWX02 48V kit, you will need to buy a 10-speed Sunrace MFEZ1 freewheel: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/freewheels/sunrace-10-speed-freewheel-1136t/ It's much cheaper on aliexpress but a long wait. I would recommend the XF08C. You can...

    Whoosh Rio throttle

you need to activate the throttle by pedalling one revolution then you can keep going on throttle until the motor stops, for example when you brake. If you cannot pedal at all, not even for one second, then something like the Big Bear will let you do that.
