Bike to carry 8 -10 year old

take a look at the Rio FS. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?rio-ls that's more of an advantage - leaving more room for his legs.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Labour will support a second referendum 'under certain circumstances'. It seems to me that they have already made a deal with TM. We are proceeding slowly toward brexit with confirmatory vote.

What are the best bikes for converting to pedelecs?

I would go for a decent second hand hybrid or mountain bike that you find on ebay and gumtree. One with a good lightweight groupset and a wide straight bar. any bike expected to be left exposed to the elements would need a fully enclosed chain cover because the drive is the first item to get...

    TSDZ2 and PF30 bottom bracket

that PF to BSA adapter is OK for the Bafang BBS01B kit but not the TSDZ2 which has the motor about 5mm nearer to the centre of the bottom bracket, too close. See the note that Videk added to this picture...

Which kit and where to buy

I would suggest my 48V TSDZ2 crank drive kit with torque sensor. it's easy to fit, has high torque and road legal. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?cdkit#tsdz2

    Brexit, for once some facts.

pure semantics. rules and fees changed with Maastricht treaty, same golf club. fascism seems to be rising as you said but I suspect it has more to do with large American owned internet platforms with rules of the jungle and under the guise of free speech. If what you read and see on the net...

Purchase of folding EBIKE new to Pedalecs

most folding bikes are not built for your weight, the fold hinge is their weakest point. I would suggest you look for a full sized bike. If it has absolutely to be a folder, you will need to increase your budget. £750 is not enough.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There are only 8 seats for the NW region. TR may have more followers in the North West but the way the voting system works (d'Hondt formula, Q=V/(S+1)) does not do him any favour. You are right to say that he needs about 9%, but they must come from the NW. He may have 1 million youtube followers...

Purchase of folding EBIKE new to Pedalecs

let us know more about your requirements: bike weight, range, intended use, budget and a bit more about yourself: your weight and height. Once you narrow down the list of suitable models, you can sort out where to buy from.

    Pedal backwards...go forwards

it's easy to check. Spin the cranks forward, if the motor turns on, you have installed the magnet disc the right way and your problem is the sensor. If the motor does not start, good news, flip the disc to have the other side facing the sensor, problem sorted.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I did, that's why I said he's unlikely to win a seat standing as an independent . BTW, Vox won yesterday 24 seats out of 189,12.7% here in Spain where I am at the moment, despite taking extreme precautions to avoid any controversial noises. He's received very large donations because of his...

    Pedal backwards...go forwards

as NealH said, some controllers are programmable for SH (single Hall) only or DH (dual Hall) only. If your controller turns on the motor when you pedal either forward or backward, you need a King Meter DH sensor which won't output the wrong signal when pedaling backward.

    Conversion questions from a newb

sure, you can have the same cassette as your current one. the maximum setting of the controller tells you how much input power it will take. The XF08C is supplied with 17A controller, that means when you climb a steep hill, it will draw as much as 17A from the battery. The controller will...

    Recommend me an e-bike

their bestselling UCL-30 and UCR-30 with front hub motor now sell for £1,299. there is no more price advantage to Chinese made e-bikes. I am forced to assemble my bikes in Southend to avoid anti dumping duty and keep cost down. Still, it adds £75 to each bike.

    Conversion questions from a newb

my XF08C kit takes most 10-speed cassettes. This said, there is no real reason why a 500W kit would do better as you are used to ride at 17mph.

    Recommend me an e-bike

have you seen what you can get for £1,000 in the shop since the EU puts on anti-dumping duty on Chinese e-bikes?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

there are 3 times more Labour voters who don't want brexit than Libdems, and JC's tactic is sound, why should they want to vote for the Libdems? it should be the other way round, Libdems tactically voting for JC to help reducing the number of tory MPs. What you don't want to see is the logic in...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

they have the logical approach. The second referendum needs to be the last solution, not the first like the LibDems have always presented. The second referendum needs to be backed with a clear demonstration that no form of brexit has managed to win a majority at the HoC. It will then motivate...
