    Brexit, for once some facts.

that was before the deal is on the table. If you ask people, the options are: 1) would you like TM to get on with her plan? 2) JRM for PM? 3) extending A50 and new election? I reckon TM would win.

I reckon we will. From outside, voters will be less inclined to believe the Daily Express version of the EU and appreciate what the EU can do for us a little more.

JC sounded shallow yesterday at PMQ. TM did most of the leg work and came very, very close to what a Labour's deal would look like. He (JC) could have been a little more gracious. He looked like an old angry man. Time for him to consider retirement.

she has no other choice. The EU creates the bar that any country wanting to be at the top table needs to be judged by. The UK needs to re-affirm that it will not lower those standards. That does not stop the HoC to make some changes after the transition finishes.

her deal will not please neither the ERG nor the remainers but acceptable to most voters. TM has only to spell out that if MPs reject it, she has no other choice than calling a new GE. That's why I think the ERG will rather abstain than vote against.

TM has got the backing of her cabinet. Next step: would the ERG start a motion of no confidence? I don't think they would.

I only saw the BBC clip of TM in front of No 10. Apparently, civil servants are told not to include the DUP in their email distribution list. Maybe they want another bung and TM said no.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I like the old Europe of nations cooperating on economics, environmental and social protection because these issues are too big for any country leave alone government to solve. I also dislike NATO and the burgeoning EU army, the CAP, an EU seat at the security council, EU enlargement and EU...

I think we would do better by leaving the trade policy to the EU, so keeping membership of the EU customs union is a sensible choice, either via EFTA membership or direct FTA. Brexit gives us back some control on foreign and defense policy at the same time, stop the USA controlling / influencing...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

you can understand that while the UK was the sick man of Europe, voters could see the benefit of joining the EEC but now, half the voters thought the situation has improved enough to pay for independence.
