    Is nothing simple anymore ?

Well yes the frame geometry does look wrong. Is it just the photo or is the headset almost vertical?

    Gsm vs bbs01

28.50 € (20 minute job flat rate) just around the corner... I guess that the easy ones help pay for the BB removal made in hell that takes him an hour. The other LBS would probably do it for me for 5€ we have more of a bartering relationship... A good 35-45 € general purpose tool...

Electric Bike share system in Milan

I think, seeing that it is Clear Channel, it is called "profit gouging" they will be charging (oooh a pun!) for new batteries before the original ones die. Question: will they be landfill er recycled or put into the second hand market for more lovely profit?

    Gsm vs bbs01

Can the throttle cable and brake cables be cut off the wiring harness without causing a short or is there an LCD to controller only cable option?

    Derestricting Sirocco CDL

:) The mounting screw to the derailleur hanger. These derailleurs are incredibly easy to set up even I managed! The secret is in the cable tension. I have the chain jumping off the front sprocket on bumps because the front derailleur isn't mounted. 4 times on Thursday, I have a pair of workshop...

touring with my kalkhoff endeavour s10

"3. If the bike was legal at say 750 watt but still restricted at 15,5 mph would that be attractive?" Yes if you live in a hilly region like me. These new high power pedelecs will be game changers for people with hills and also for delivery bikes. Just make sure that the power cuts out...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

So I opened the big cardboard box full of bits and bobs and tried imagining the thumb throttle that lies there in the bottom as a security device. No luck... A real throttle, half twist or full twist maybe. With a central motor so that it isn't fighting for attention with gear changer or other...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

OK then shouldn't posts about throttles should be off in a subject all of their own "e-bikes, throttles & co" in the much same way s-pedelecs are? I take you on your (very trustworthy) word that throttles improve security, I haven't tried one for obvious reasons. Having almost been run over by...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

I live on a continent where a bike is a bike and a moped is a moped. Black - white, no shades of gray. If you have a throttle you are riding a moped. If you don't have a throttle you are riding a pedelec. Throttles do not promote the sale of pedelecs they promote the sale of a different class...

    How many torque arms

Thanks for confirming my thoughts guys. I'll give it a whack with the supplied washers and nice and tight on the nuts. I think that if there is no play i.e. careful on the filing of the dropouts to fit the axle it looks solid enough to take 250 W.

    How many torque arms

My new build looks to be my current rear motor kit in a bigger, more comfortable 700C frame. I really wanted to put a GSM CD in there but finances being what they are... I thought about running a web campaign but "poor underpaid bloke living in a wonderful part of the world needs funds for sexy...

Bike for fairly fit 75 year old woman wanting assistance on hills

Torque sensors seem to be the new thing "à la mode". Nobody ever read d8veh's posts about the new TS emulating controllers? My bike feels like a bike. I have lost 4 kg since I put a motor on it, maybe because I ride it 20X more often and much farther. If I want a workout Assistance level 0...

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

I know I keep going on about this but... If you can turn the pedals, without even applying force, you don't need a throttle, modern PAS is really quite good. Yes I mean riding away from the lights on a hill, use your granny gear Luke! The force (all 250 W of it) is with you! Of course you would...

I heard that VW are to return to F1......

Ferrari was in F1 before being owned by Fiat. I stand by my remark VW can not be returning just by buying a brand that was once upon a time involved in GP racing. F1 was born in 1946...
