the 2017 models are better value for money. You get a reasonably safe bike that you can play with. Stay away from any bike with a QR skewer! (because of your weight).

    Brexit, for once some facts.

he wants and dares remainer MPs to threaten TM this time. He and his mates at the ERG can't bring TM down but the combined force of remainer MPs can because there are more remainers than brexiters in the HoC. If this happens, he'll be seen by tory MPs and membership as the good guy. It's a kind...

Bafang make lots of motors for different types of riding. The Bafang G33.350 in the Warrior is comparable to the Bosch CX and Yamaha PW motors in terms of torque and riding. I'd say the Bafang is a bit quieter than the Yamaha. The Bafang BPM motor in the Big Bear has similar grunt but rides...

as in the Warrior? the Bafang motor in the Warrior has slightly higher torque, the battery in the Warrior is a 500WH against 400WH in the Sduro 1.0. As for the rest, the Haibike is lighter and the MTB tyres are much better on the road.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

we already have co-payment: the prescription charge for example. We also have partially privatised the NHS. How many of us have to go for private dental treatments? If you need an operation, someone will come along soon enough to whisper in your ears 'can you afford to go private?' In France...

I don't want to sell the Warrior all over the UK because of the support issue. I can personally look after those who live in or around Southend. When a bike goes on the website, I have to commit to higher production runs, spares, manuals, staff training, etc. We will eventually fit the MaxDrive...

I sell 5 times more the Rio FB/Rio LS and 10 times more Rio MTBs than the more expensive Warrior. the Warrior is great riding in snow last winter. It just does not snow much in the UK.

Oxygen vs Whoosh for 50miles a day commute

You can always get the old battery recelled when it's time to upgrade. At the moment, only Woosh stock the 17AH Dorado battery (that's the name of the battery case) but there is a danger that the anti dumping duty on Chinese e-bikes is going to cause a lot of disruption for a few years.

Can you software limit a bafang motor to 250w to make it road legal?

they need to justify difference in price. Take Raleigh for example. Their current hub drive Raleigh Array E costs £1,100 in the shop. Their cheapest crank drive Raleigh Captus costs £1,350.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I picked this comment from a Guardian reader today: "what will come of this reality, in light of the fact that the two overwhelmingly dominant reasons for people voting leave were, second, immigration, and first, a gormless, bottomlessly sad belief in “the principle that decisions about the UK...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'm watching Marr interviewing TM on the 3.4% real term increase for the NHS. TM was asked if this money comes from the brexit dividend. Her answer is a feeble yes. She subsequently attempted to qualify that yes by 'we haven't left yet'. I can understand the qui pro quo of brexit dividend in...

It is a wise decision in this time of uncertainty about anti-dumping duty on Chinese bikes. On support, the anti dumping issue does not affect availability much, Bafang who makes the electrics of most Chinese e-bikes are not directly hit, they sell parts worldwide, including from Germany, inside...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I reckon a second referendum would happen before we really leave. Donald Tusk said more or less immediately in the aftermath of the EU ref, 'the only alternative of hard brexit is no brexit'. He knows of course how difficult and expensive leaving will be for us. There is currently only one...
