I reckon she only wants to kick it far enough to remain in post until October, then March. After that, I reckon the landscape would have changed enough for her to last until the next GE.

I am watching BBC News, it's of course all about brexit. latest angle of attack on TM by a brexiteer on TV: TM commits a fraud on the electorate because 'brexit is brexit'. A lit late, don't you think?

that reminds me of M Thatcher promoting John Major to Foreign Secretary, then Chancellor of the Exchequer before he became leader of the conservatives. I reckon even Raab can do a better job than lazy DD. BTW, I watched Andrea Leadsom defending soft brexit on Daily Politics!!!

    testing controller output

Mike, this is the Conv-E: The motor cable has 3 pins, the green socket accepts a twist throttle and on/off switch: you need that twist throttle, you can't use the kit without it. The yellow socket accepts a pedal sensor. You may be able to buy something similar on ebay. You should post...

    testing controller output

you can't test a controller by checking the phase wires. They receive 20ms-50ms pulses from the controller. If you see a static voltage on those pins, then some of the FETs have died.

he does not want to take any responsibility for brexit and he is not alone. More hard brexiteers will follow his flight.

What to do with integrated brake and gear levers?

that's also my solution. you have the new sensored brake levers with the kit. You lose the front derailleur with the BBS kit, the front shifter does not need replacing.

    Confused by all the choice

yes, your battery internal resistance is higher at 0 deg C than at 20 degrees C but that is due to the construction of Lithium ion cells. Your cells are optimised to functioning temperature at 25 degree C. That is, the internal resistance is higher too cold or too hot, lowest between 20 - 40 deg...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I disagree. Brexit is real since the triggering of A50. We are already excluded from a lot of EU policy meetings, the European Medicines Agency is relocating to Amsterdam etc. Although there is some possibility that A50 could be cancelled, I won't hold my breath for it. The only game in town to...

    Confused by all the choice

The plots below show the relationship between internal resistance and discharge current. The bottom black plot shows the resistance at 0.3A discharge, the red plot just above it the same cell at 0.6A discharge and so on for 0.9A etc. Clearly, the resistance increases with the discharge current...

the figure £1,000 to £1,500 is just an average estimate. If you run a business, you have to have public liability insurance. This is additional insurance and totally justified to me.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The right wing press has already flogged 'the will of the people' to death and JRM has the charisma of a wet Sunday. He may have enough allies to start a leadership challenge but he'll run the risk that the majority of brexit voting conservatives are decisively not hard brexiters, they will...

insurance premium is usually based on the turnover of the business. I assume the insurance would indemnify the customers in case the business can't. It is extra peace of mind for customers.

I have never come across this symptom, so am as much in the dark as you are. The simplest way to find out is to swap out either the controller of LCD. I'll get them in the post for you tomorrow when I get back to work. Tony
