    Brexit, for once some facts.

it's going to be a buffet 'eat as much cake as you like and you can have a doggy bag too'. Guy Verhofstadt and apparently one of our own civil servants reckon that the 'association membership' is so vague that you won't need separate FTAs.

don't worry, Thames Water will recycle it.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

that's why Guy Verhofstadt reckons 10 years to get it sorted. By that time, people would have wondered what the fuss was all about because if we are still out, it would be BRINO anyway.

that's true. If we are associate member in the SM, we would get a seat.

that's the original specs, 27.5" boost for the frame.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the issue for the EU and TM is simple: whatever deal both sides come up with, Parliament may vote it down if Labour and the SNP oppose it. There are about 60 fanatics on each side: hard brexit and BRINO. Either side can cause big troubles.

no. Switzerland is participating in the SM for goods and not in the CU.

    Bike for heavy user

I am grateful for your views, really. As one of the bikes I am looking at to add to our range this winter could be fitted with bolt through wheels, it occurs to me that we could sell the bike minus the wheelset, shocks, brakes and handlebars to save some money to those who would rather go...

    Bike for heavy user

thank you seosamh1977 for taking time to answer me. If you convert a good bike for going down, you probably have problems in two areas: how and where to securely bolt the battery to the frame and how to protect the crank drive motor because the only choice of motor is BBSes to get round the...

    Bike for heavy user

I wonder if anyone would be interested in buying a kit consisting of frame + crankset, CD motor + in frame battery that is built to have internal cable routing and secure battery hold. You would add the wheels, suspension fork and handlebars to complete the bike. The motor is the new Bafang M600...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

we'll know next week what the conservatives have (or have not) done for brexit/us. I don't think brexit is crazy, it's expensive but not crazy.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

if the UK was a teabag and the EU the pot, then there would be 28 teabags from all members and the water is not or just poured in. If as you said, the bag is used, then that's what the EU has done to us. I would say that the bags come from different stores, Asda, Morrison, M&S etc. the UK would...

    Which Bike to Choose?

you should add something like this Haibike @ £1,499 to your short list: https://www.cyclerepublic.com/haibike-sduro-hardseven-1-0-27-5-electric-mountain-bike-2018.html BTW, I can arrange for your Rio MTB to be looked after by a local bike shop if it's the only reason stopping you getting one.

    Kwikfold Xite 3

can you see the depthh of the ridge on the yellow part of the plug? it looks like 2mm - it has to match the groove in the socket to form an airtight join. If the depth is wider than the groove, it won't fit.

    Which Bike to Choose?

you should at least try a crank drive bike, Giant, Cube, Haibike, Raleiigh etc.. Make a list: - crank drive or geared hub? - lightweight or fully equipped with rack and mudguards? - frame type and style: folding or not folding? wheel size: 26,27.5 or 29? - range and battery size - budget Then...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

that's why I'd like a LibLab coalition after we leave the EU. Borrow to invest but prudently. We need unhindered state intervention and immigration control to create large scale training and employment opportunities for the 1.5 million of less well trained and educated job seekers.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

we have a structural budget deficit of around 3% for a long time, since the Blair years, which lead to 10 years of austerity. The effect of the brexit referendum was to deter and reduce immigration a bit, moving a few hundred thousand of Britons back to work, reducing the structural deficit. So...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the centre of gravity inside the EU is somewhere in Spain. The EU will grow safely but not very fast, its main objectives are equalisation and protection for the consumers and the environment. I started my business as a manufacturer, I could see the writing on the wall when I had to stop getting...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

If you compare the UK to your own business, the primary concern is to sell your stuff, then hire people and buy stuff. We have to look out where economic growth is coming from. the immediate future growth is the Pacific Rim, then next century, Africa. Can we do better than the EU on our own? I...
