    Brexit, for once some facts.

I don't think these amendments amount to much but this one: 'government is required to draw up primary legislation if the UK wants to remain in the EU customs union' is good to gauge the level of support for hard brexit. The other 3 are fluff.

the 'squeak' you hear is typical when the pads are not pressed flat against the rotor or the rotor is contaminated.

The lines you see on the rotor are normal. The pads need them to provide stopping power. you may find this video useful:

    Disc Brake Problem

No. It's so rare that I never needed to write a manual for this. Your pads may be contaminated. Keep all lube well clear of the rotor and pads. Wipe the rotor with a bit of alchohol on a cotton pad. The Big Bear comes with Avid BB5 front disc on 180mm rotor. There is a quick manual here...

Bafang BBS02 (B) battery wire guage

no, only from the battery terminals to the crimps on the motor cable. If you make the battery lead yourself then you don't have to buy silicon wires, cut a piece from the power lead of the motor to do this.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

TM only needs the EU to make a political declaration, somnething along the line 'the EU and the UK will seek to establish a common customs area with full regulatory alignment'. that's all she needs to declare 'brexit is now brexit'. She'll flex later.

and more. I think the EU will flex enough for TM to get the Chequers deal.

the EU will insist on these standards anyway, just in case UK government tries to cheat. TM will fudge on FOM and the ECJ.

in the Chequers proposal, we get to keep import duty and we'll adopt EU environmental and workers protection.

you need the situation to be so ridiculous that common sense will prevail at long last. As I said, Chequers way is a way forward.

all duty money goes to EU coffers - the UK gets paid 20% commision to collect for the EU. That's why I think WTO has its merit.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

brexit comes with costs that voters who voted for it prefer not to know. The only possible compromise is the one where nobody wins, everyone loses a little. In that, Chequers model seems to be the way forward.

I have not evaluated the potential of joining the Trans Pacific Partnership so I can't give you any supporting facts and figures but I do know how dynamic, resourceful and hard working the Pacific rim countries are, there is a lot of potential for growth, some say much better that old Europe...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There are currently 5 scenarios for brexit, most likely first: - Chequers model - transition then WTO - transition then remain in SM and CU (if JC wins). - Norway (if JC wins). - WTO (if ERG wins) we will still be trading with the EU in any case.

if I were to deliver WTO brexit, I'd look very closely at joining the Trans Pacific Partnership. We'll lose big time in Europe but make up some losses with a possibly more prosperous future in Asia and US..

I give you a practical example: e-bike sellers. we can compete better against German made bikes if we have WTO brexit. It's not just e-bikes, machinery too.
