    Brexit, for once some facts.

some time they have to because their new country (such as Singapore, Austria, India, Saudi Arabia) does not allow dual nationality. It is often a family choice, you can't for example, buy a property on the local market if you don't have the local citizenship. The admin costs have nothing to do...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The article does not name the source, how can it be accurate if that is not the EU's official statement? It's just froth from the Guardian. The EU does not have to agree with the UK's position, therefore we'll likely arrive in October with not much of a deal other than agreeing to a possible...

Commuting to work on ebike in London

my son who lives and works in London made the point long time ago of not paying more than £100 for a bike. Thieves still cut his lock with a disc cutter and nicked his battered £100 bike from the communal bike shed 3 times so far. He's lost QR skewers, saddle, bell, lights, propstand etc. You...

    Bike for heavy user

yes, but the new law does not allow using the throttle alone, you have to pedal a bit every 30 seconds or so. You can, but we do not support de-restricters.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

this has really not much to do with brexit. Most Britons do not have to renounce their British nationality when they apply for naturalisation in another country like the Benelux, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Israel etc. Only a tiny number of countries do not allow dual nationality.

    Bike for heavy user

Take Leigh Hill for example, you should be able to climb it with a little pedaling. Range: about 40-45 miles with the 15AH battery.

Wanted - Bafang SW02X motor hub

as far as I know, they are used by me, Oxygen and Kudos, only Oxygen have them in 27.5". Kudos and I have them in 26". I don't know who else stocks SWX02.

Wanted - Bafang SW02X motor hub

yes, but you have to buy a new SWX02 wheel in 26" rim, transplant the motor core over. What would you do with the other parts? clutch unit and rim + motor shell?

Wanted - Bafang SW02X motor hub

what's wrong with your motor? those SWX02s are pretty sturdy. The only thing fragile on them are the hall sensors. They are easy to replace. I have SWX02 motors but on 26" rims, but not in 27.5" rims.

    Motor cutting out.

the black top cover (where the lock is fitted) of the Dorado battery has 2 screws holding it. You need to remove the screws then lift the molding out, the controller box is just behind the plastic cover. The 3 motor phase wires and the two battery wires carry high current. If the bullet crimps...

    Motor cutting out.

that's where the controller is. Check the bullet crimps - they carry high current, if any of them getting loose, their resistance will create heat.
