    Brexit, for once some facts.

we'll be paying in for sometime around the same 11 billions a year. By the time we have reduced or stopped our contribution, the EU budget would have been adjusted to less than it is at the moment. The real hit to the EU is reduction in economic importance compared to other trading blocs. BTW...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

we are not going to crash out. At present, 87% of our trade is done within the SM and CU framework. I doubt much will change at the end of the 'implementation period'. we'll kick the ball further down the road, then a dose of reality will take its course.

yes, that's what brexit is really about. Would we do better than now? what our future governments would do when we have repatriated previously shared sovereignty is anyone's guess.

    Confused,bike has no magnet PAS,but a crank /torque sensor ?

a torque sensor needs to be combined with a rotational sensor to interpret its output. The system you have may have local processing, its output may look like a throttle signal (3-pin on the white plug). If this is the case, then you can use any standard Chinese controller. Otherwise, you'd be...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

you give to JRM and his band of fundamentalists too much power. The people with real power are the EU apparatchik and the multinational banks. I compare brexit to electron tunneling. Hard brexit has higher energy barrier, soft brexit less, but still a barrier. Whichever brexit, there will be a...

is this you are referring to? https://www.electricbike.com/torque-sensors/ That's a torque sensor using springs, like the one used by the Suntour HESC.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

they don't have to, a lot of brexit voters don't care how the deal is done and even if one is done. Hard brexiters would rather no deal is done at all to make sure that all ties with the EU27 are severed. Soft brexiters want only a transition period which will maintain close ties with the EU27...

How do you know who lied more than whom? You don't know for sure which brexit we are going to get, how do you know if you are going to suffer? There has always been a cost to all the votes. If there weren't any, votes wouldn't be needed. fitness for the purpose is not the purpose of the vote...

I reckon they have a valid point of view to make, that is democracy comes at a high economic cost. There must be a day and year zero somewhere, so why not 'independence day'? To me, right or wrong democratic decisions, democracy needs to be tested to be valid.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the hard brexiters intend on showing a clear distance with the EU27, that means no deal, nevermind that such an outcome will cost our manufacturing and inward investment. Trust me, the American banks will be the first to decamp to the EU27, followed by American car manufacturers.

no tariff access for goods is the easy part. Most FTAs are about lowering non-tariff barriers. There is no incompatibility between having a form of customs union with the EU27 and keeping the ability to do trade deals, it all comes down to what has been negotiated/agreed. EFTA membership is a...
